Business acumen of NTL

Dear Colleagues, I believe that we should praise NTL for its acquisition of 200MM funding and it's reuse of PCB design for the NP3a(lite). Also, the minimal stock holding and user-removable bloatware. I applaud these decisions as they demonstrate that NTL is in it for the long-haul and these measures will sustain NTL into the future. Naren i know…i also didn't like the decision of bloatware.. people already complained on the orginal discussion… and it has way more posts then normal discussion… so let's see what happen…

And i personally think that this bloatware thing will come to every phone…

If you don't like bloatware and things nothing implemented in nos4.0 …don't update… I've similar thoughts.. will definitely update it to nos4…will try for some day and if that bother me…will rollback and stick to nos3.2 for forever or untill some nice update come… anyway there are no new features worth updating…

That's what I am not understanding there are many accounts here which do not support adding features like more lock screen customisation, smooth animation more advanced ai features in camera by saying let the OS be minimalist but they are supporting the addition of lock glimpse and bloatware in the OS

JP I don't see any reason to go to NOS 4 until the Playground is fully operational.

Naren I fall into that category. I like NOS 3.5/4 as is and find customisation boring. However, don't act like purchasing/employer third-party software is adding anything to the OS. The vendor Vilykke will handle almost/nearly all of it. NTL has minimal work to do.

Naren First let me ask when we purchased these devices they said there will be no bloatware but in NOS 4 they added and what is the guarantee that in coming update they will not let us uninstall/disable these bloatware.

They are running a bussiness here, if you don't buy thier products they'll be the ones who will take a loss. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Naren i have 5 years old realme phone…which is still working fine … it already has all features people asking here… it has 60hz display but animation are far smoother than nothing phones… everything is good… but i personally like nothing's minimal design… i bought it only for that…and good hardware is plus…

I'm neither supporting nor against their decision… i just hate those people who only complain and doesn't post any good informative things here… i saw so many users only posting hate here with 5-20 total post on their profile…

JP wtf man do you really want glance we're paying extra money just because of nothing os is experience they're not offering anything instead they only have one best thing there operating system no special hardware anything etc and it is not about adding glance and bloatware or not it about carring out there obligation and promise we don't want to off that feature we want they never add this kind of features and bloatware by default

Anonymous964 i can uninstall it using ADB… i did that on my old phone and will do on my cmf ph1… i also removed some google apps also…nobody is stopping me from doing this on own device... i said it like 4-5 times here on community… and coming to clean software experience…you can get it from any coutom os… so i would choose that instead come here in community and complain…

i see you just joined today like 3-4 hours ago and started complaining…community is already filled with complainers… so if you have any problem regarding hardware software…please search it up and find solutions… or ask anyone, they will be happy to help…

Naren as a NOS, why would I want major changes to the OS and bloat built into my OS like transparency, metal, lock screen dynamic wallpapers, hotspot number of users, clock customisation, etc…

All that stuff is garbage that I can get on other OSs for less money.

I pay a PREMIUM to have NOS remain grey scale and bloat-free.

I'd gladly pay NTL 20% more to NIT have all these things happen.

I also drive a SAAB.

Naren I see. This is a nonsensical post: the CMF1 has no bloatware and it very capable for it's now £149 pricetag. It possibly performs 90+% as well as the CMF2P/NP3(lite).

It's nonsensical posts like your that decrease the quality of the information here on the community.

And I also purchased NP3a due to only for its clean UI otherwise like every body i had gone for devices like iqooneo10R oneplus nord4 and many more devices

Naren With CMF becoming an separate company, and the CMF line not getting NOS 4 beta's, Nothing releasing a direct competitor to the CMF 2, who knows, might be a CMF OS in the works.

I pray that you would be right otherwise they will not have any USP to sell especially in INDIA where market is too price sensitive and maximum revenue of NOTHING is generated from INDIA only
