I am using the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus and I really like the camera performance so far. One feature that I feel is missing is Portrait Video (background blur while recording videos).

Since the hardware already supports strong video capabilities (4K recording, OIS, etc.), I believe this could be enabled through a software update in Nothing OS. Many users, including me, would love to see a cinematic style video option similar to Portrait mode in photos.

Can you please consider adding this feature in the upcoming Nothing OS updates (maybe OS 4.0 or later)? It would be a great addition for creators and casual users alike.

When I create a custom rule, I’d like to be able to set its priority.
That way, I can define a general rule for all incoming calls, and then let individually defined rules for specific callers override it.

In short: the ability to prioritize rules or arrange them in a list/hierarchy.

In iPhone has apps area background wallpaper but in nothing phone it has black screen in apps area so it not gives better look so add colour full wallpaper background screen to look pretty good 😊 and make apps little bit smaller size scale add in the home screen settings

I have moved from Samsung phones one thing I miss the Always on display feature which I used to have on Samsung phones and in comparison nothing always on display sucks

I request to bring customisation on always on display for nothing phones

I really wish there was a setting for minimum shutter speed (and maybe max shutter speed to do deliberate motion blur) on all the photo modes. Or at least regular “Photo”, “Portrait” and “Macro” modes.

I know you can set shutter speed in Expert mode, but then you lose all the benefits of the specialized modes, like portrait etc… And you don’t get filters! 👎

Having an optional minimum shutter speed setting that could be set as-needed or in a preset would totally solve the issue of moving subjects being blurry because the camera insists on shooting at 1/50s or 1/30s 🤦‍♂️

I’m grateful for “Expert” mode, but it’s all-or-nothing. Controlling shutter speed in other modes would be solid enhancement for photography enthusiasts.

First time poster

A suggestion for updates to the front facing camera software. Have a flashlight mode where the onscreen video shrinks by ½″ all the way around and that border becomes bright white my old phone use to be able to do this and it was a game changer for low light front face camera recording.

The front face for photo and video is far superior to most companies and this would definitely bring it up another notch. 📸🤳

Yes exactly. This is what I was searching in settings the time I bought nothing phone. But no option in settings. The option should be there in settings.
