Hi Nothing Team & Community,
I’ve really been enjoying the clean and minimal feel of Nothing OS — it’s one of the main reasons I love using these phones. That said, I think there’s one visual feature that could make the experience even more dynamic and fun: 3D/Depth Effect Wallpapers.
A lot of other platforms like iOS, One UI, and OxygenOS already have this, where the wallpaper background and subject move slightly to create a parallax or depth illusion. It gives the phone a fresh, immersive feel without making things look cluttered.
Here’s how I imagine it could work in Nothing OS:
Depth-based wallpapers → the subject stands out while the background shifts a little.
Parallax/tilt effect → the wallpaper moves subtly as you tilt the phone.
Interactive live wallpapers → animations in Nothing’s own minimal, dot-matrix style.
Customization options → let users turn it on/off or pick how strong the effect should be.
I feel this would blend perfectly with Nothing’s design philosophy: minimal, playful, but still practical. Paired with the Glyph Matrix and Nothing’s smooth animations, it could make the overall experience feel even more unique.
