Hi team,

Loving the CMF Phone 1 so far clean design, smooth UI, and great value!

I’d love to see a feature added where double-clicking the power button opens the Essentials Space. It would make accessing tools like torch, camera, notes, and wallet much faster especially when time matters.

This small shortcut can really improve everyday usability. Hope the team considers adding this in a future update 🙌

Hey everyone!

Last week I got my first Nothing phone and I’ve been absolutely loving it — especially the high level of customization. I recently added the Recorder widget to my home screen, and while it’s super convenient to start recording with a single tap, I feel like there’s a missed opportunity here.

What I’d love to see is the ability to connect the Recorder widget with the same AI summarization feature that’s available on the Essentials page. Imagine being able to tap the widget, record your meeting or conversation, and then automatically get a smart summary — just like you can with recordings made through Essentials.

It would be a game-changer for productivity and note-taking.

Is this something that’s on the roadmap? Or are there any workarounds for linking recordings from the widget to the Essentials AI pipeline?

I’m enjoying the glyph matrix. I like the flip to glyph feature but I don’t always want it to be on. Sometimes I put the phone down and I want to focus (like if I’m working). Other items I put the phone down and I want to see the glyph but I also want to hear all notifications (like if I’m cooking for example). Going into settings to change this is cumbersome. A toggle in quick settings would be appreciated. Thanks !

I really dislike that serif font that comes enabled in the system by default. I love the (experimental) feature to change all Settings Titles to Ndot. It all seems to be changed once I enable that feature, but I noticed that the App Drawer & Settings menu title stays with the Serif font. I guess noone will bother with such a small “problem”, but maybe you (the developers) can do it in some of the forthcoming updates. Ndot is iconic for Nothing and I love to have it everywhere throughout the OS.

It would be nice if there was an official Android phone wallpaper which mocks electronics behind the screen so that we can “see through” from the back and from the front.

Bonus points if there were multiple by Nothing Phone series.

The mocking doesn’t necessarily have to be based on real electronics if it would be too noisy as a wallpaper. Then again it could be for lock screen… idk

Did some community members do something like that already?

Hide the dock when it’s empty, so I have the space available for each space on my Home Screen (see image)
Let widgets expand properly. Too much empty space and space restrictions. I would like to use the home screen space to get a proper look at my calendar events (see image)
Let me have 5 small buttons side by side in the control center to match the Home Screen and app launcher
Let me hide items in the App Launcher, especially the ones that I’ve added to my Home Screen
Sort pinned apps by alphabet in the App Drawer, or let me sort them
Adjust icon sizing for the Nothing icon set. They are a bit too small in the circles currently
Use solid OLED black background in the App Drawer
Auto switch between light mode and dark mode wallpapers
Let me add more than only one pinned section in the App Drawer, for example for games
