Anonymous996 Yeah man, I’ve noticed that too. I didn’t ignore him at first because I genuinely thought he knew his stuff and could hold a fair discussion. But lately, it’s become pretty clear that his tone has these subtle jabs — especially toward people from our region. When he uses things like “a subset of users are ruining the community” or assumes my phone issue was due to a “dirty USB-C port,” it’s hard not to feel the disrespect behind it.
I’ve already shared my whole experience — I took my phone to the service center because it kept restarting while charging. They held onto it for five days, said they’d fixed it, and gave it back with scratches and even a small crack on the back glass. If the issue was just a “dirty port,” the technicians would’ve noticed and cleaned it right away… that’s literally their first step. So when he keeps insisting it’s dirt, it doesn’t sound like genuine help. It sounds like he’s just trying to put the blame on me.
What bothers me even more is that this isn’t the first time. I’ve seen him make similar remarks before. I even flagged a few. One got removed, but another that was borderline racist stayed up.
He’s also mocked people whose first language isn’t English, which is funny considering half of his own posts sound AI-polished. It’s frustrating to see moderators quickly act on emotional posts but ignore these subtle, belittling comments. That kind of double standard is exactly what’s making the community toxic.
Let’s be real… we’re not here to attack Nothing or anyone personally. We’re sharing real experiences. If their products or service improve, complaints will naturally go down. that’s how every community works. But dismissing our issues or labeling us as the “subset of users” "complainers" just because we’re vocal about poor service isn’t fair.
And even if his “dirty port” theory were somehow true, wouldn’t that make the service center look worse for missing something so basic after keeping my phone for days? That’s the part he conveniently skips over.
Anyway, I’m done talking to him. Some people just twist words and gaslight others until you give up. I’ve already reported his racist remarks, and if the mods actually enforced their rules properly, atleast warned him about it… this kind of behavior wouldn’t keep popping up. I’m just going to ignore him now — not worth the stress.
