The full OTA column is N/A meaning, there is no full OTA. What you see in blue on the left, is the incremental OTA updates, not the full OTA. You will have to wait for a new CMF2P firmware, i.e., when NOS 4.0 releases. You cannot go back.

I feel you, though, it has been very inconvenient. I have been submitting bugs on this and communicated all I can with support. Will have to be patient on a new update soon. They indicated NOS 4.0 on CMF devices before the New Year. Time will tell, but hopeful for a patch in the NOS 4.0 update in the next 2 weeks.

Additionally, the 3a Lite received a patch today (not NOS 4.0) so take that with a grain of salt updates are continuing for devices. CMF update will come soon I reckon.

Womey from the sixth row, i downloaded the full ota worth 4.2 GB. is that it?
i am not sure what to do with this but i am really frustrated.. camera is below avg now..

but from your last comment i feel like i should wait for NOS4.0 but then i have also seen the reviews of people who has updated with 4.0 on their nothing phones and they say camera has gone bad, not improved in any way.
so my point is the CMF NOS4.0 will be the same as theirs i guess. so the camera is not going to improve in any way i guess?
or will it.. i don’t know..

The Nothing OS 4 update based on Android 16 has just rolled out for the CMF Phone 2 Pro, and before updating I wanna know few thing

How’s the overall performance after the update?

Any noticeable changes in battery life (better or worse)?

Are animations and scrolling smoother?

Any bugs, heating, network, or app issues so far?

New features or subtle UI changes you’ve noticed?

Specially the Camera performance – improved, unchanged, or downgraded? because last updated suck due to camera regression

Early impressions matter, especially for users who haven’t updated yet.

I think you didn’t look in the right place of page.. that’s why you got confused…

It’s like downloading a file and installing it…

But in this process you’ll loose all your data on phone..so please do a backup…

JP ok JP bhaiya now i have learnt few stuffs.
first see my stats.

so now i know everything went down from the last update galaga v3.2-251103-2121-IND which is my current that was 80 mb sh!t anyways.

now moving to the gitbud site on the download section. i went to

then on that i got

now in this in the column of full OTA its n/a in every row except the 2nd last one.. so i clicked there it gave me 4.2 gb zip file.. i guess this is the main ota file we are talking to copy in internal folder naming OTA.

so if i am not wrong now i have to only copy this file on my phone making a folder named ota and then do that dialing stuff and then install?

Womey actually the camera comparison should be done from June cuz

after the June firmware update only, they started nerfing camera. after June they never improved the camera.

and the worst was this November update which made it horrible.

so please can u check accordingly if u shot some pics earlier like in May or something like that.

ArkoIslam feels very smooth so far. Will get around to camera testing. From immediate notice, as with CMF1 and 3a phones, 120hz gaming toggle does not work. You cannot enable higher than 60hz refresh rate for applications. So if gaming is something you do and need the higher frames, do not download yet, as you will be hard capped to 60hz gaming.

Edit: took some basic photos inside in generally lower-light conditions. Images are coming out way better than the last 3.2 update. They definitely put time in on the camera regressions seen on the last 3.2 update for cmfp2p. Images are less AI looking, skin tones more natural and not red tinted on selfie cam, and camera application does not seem to hang as much as before. Props to Nothing addressing a lot of the known issues with the camera.

i mean i need to know, is that unusual light on face and darkening on side especially after the post processing is gone?

Hello! Sharing a few quick snaps taken indoors under warm, low-light conditions to give some early visual context after updating to NOS 4.0 on the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

These were intentionally casual shots and by no means controlled lighting to reflect everyday use. I included subjects with varied textures and colors (fur, fabric, plush materials, and greenery) to highlight how the camera is currently handling detail, color reproduction, noise, and exposure. Shots were taken across different combinations of HDR and Auto Tone, both on and off.

This is not a definitive review or final verdict on the camera… especially given the regressions seen in the 3.2 update, but rather a quick check-in to show how the camera is behaving right now in basic low-light scenarios. I plan to spend the next week doing more structured testing across additional lighting conditions and will follow up with a more thorough assessment of how things are working camera wise on NOS 4.0 🫡😎

Womey I haven’t updated the phone since the last camera regression thing started, I don’t wanna trade the camera for some gimmicks, waiting for your full review especially on the low light conditions.
