What they replied as below

1. Post Processing Degrades Photo Quality:

Check Post-Processing Settings: Review the app or camera software settings to ensure post-processing is not over-applied (e.g., excessive sharpness, noise reduction, contrast adjustments).
Disable or Adjust Post-Processing: Temporarily disable post-processing features (such as HDR, AI enhancements) to test whether the quality is restored without them.
Check Software Updates: Ensure that both the camera app and post-processing algorithms are updated to the latest version.
Try Different Formats: If the photos are saved in a compressed format (like JPEG), try saving them in RAW to preserve original image quality.

2. Unnatural Skin Tone:

Adjust White Balance Settings: Verify if the camera is set to an appropriate white balance mode (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, etc.) to avoid color distortions.
Check AI/Beauty Mode Settings: Ensure beauty mode or skin-smoothing filters are turned off, as they can cause unnatural skin tones.
Reset Camera Settings: Reset all camera settings to default and test the photo again to see if the issue persists.

3. Telephoto Lens Capturing Poor Detail and Clarity After Update:

Check Lens Settings: Ensure the telephoto lens is correctly enabled in the camera settings and is set to the correct focal length.
Test with Different Lighting Conditions: Test the lens under various lighting conditions to see if the clarity issue persists.

That means they are not accepting that this update degraded the camera.

Hmm additionally nothing to say about the camera quirkiness not allowing zoom on the main camera. I’ve personally done all these steps and saw no changes to camera behavior. I will, however, try all these steps in order and see if that does anything and report back to this thread.

Is there any new update coming or will it be fixed in nothing OS 4.0 and when will it come?

Also is there any way to rollback to the previous version or can you provide a firmware update?

The camera has got worse than ever.

The post processing is just making everything worse like AI enhancement. It lights up the face unusually and what can i say.. I am literally crying.. its taking photos worse than Nokia 😭

Bro i mean, it was only the camera which was worthy on this phone apart from this everything is below avg.. I am really frustrated and feeling guilty that why did i updated.

Kamran_SeGfykTcL3 i never used it… it’s strange to say that but i never faced any big issue with my cmf ph1… but people used it to update manually to nos4 for other models… because people can’t wait for 6-7 days to get ota update…

You can give it a try… it will not void warranty..and you can update to latest version from your phone anytime you want…

This method does not work for the CMFP2P, unfortunately. It has to do with signatures and sign-offs. CMF does not allow you to downgrade firmware without a full OTA. I spent a lot of time researching as I wanted to revert myself and figured out it is not possible to revert to incremental OTA’s (stepped-updates of Firmware Versions) as the GitHub has.

Additionally, I have to kinda agree. Everything about this device is okay and the camera was a big selling point. Feelsbad it is unusable in its current state.

Womey so what if i do full ota 3.2. i mean i went to that github site. there is a full ota available..

but i also need to ask few questions. like i don’t know the whole process to do that.. but that i will sort out..i fell it like windows format and install kind of shat..
1. will i get further update in future? or its like now cracked os unofficial thing
2. will my warranty be void?
3. can there be any other issues like glitches or something more untolerable.

cuz right now i only care about camera.. like just camera.. even if it gives 3 hrs backup or whar so ever.. please help
