Nothing doesn't release security updates on a monthly, but rather bi-monthly schedule.
So phones which are still running on a September security level, will receive a new update this month. Phones which are running the October security level, will get a new update next month.
Additionally the updates often get deployed in the second half of a month, instead of the first week.
