@changename can’t update to Open Beta 2 on my NP1. I keep getting the error: “error code -2: pre-build-incremental is different from ro.build.date.utc”.

Using:

NOTHING BETA OTA UPDATE, Build number: Spacewar-U2.5-231206-0153-EEA

Any help?

B_Bulinda If i remember correctly, error code -2 is when you try to upgrade from the closed beta, you have to install a patch to get to OB1 first.

When will we get the final stable version

      Bugs found so far:

      1. On my device, all chargers show only ‘charging’ not’ Rapid charging’.

      2. Camera post-processing is getting worse and worse. A 15k Realme or Redmi phone is taking better shots than phone 1. I am an extensive camera user and I see a ton of issues in post-processing and even a basic thing like anti-bending in indoor lighting conditions. But who cares, Nothing is just focused on making widgets and stuff. Try taking a daylight shot against the sun with portrait mode and see how it fades the subject’s face with clouds/sky overlay.

      • What’s the point of having 50Mp+50Mp capable hardware if the software just sucks and can’t even compete with low-range budget smartphones.

      3. Battery backup now can be compared with iPhones. If you know what I mean. I would pick Oneplus over any phone for battery backup/optimization.

      1. Screen brightness is not enough for Indian outdoors. Why advertise something high and then cap it with software? feels like we got cheated there. Not so transparent there huh.

PLEASE FOCUS ON CAMERA, HDR, AND POST-PROCESSING.

RohitGiri If you scroll up, someone posted a link to a google drive folder containing files and instructions. I don’t know if it works myself as I haven’t needed it, but it should be able to get you on OB2

Really tired and feeling bad of waiting for stable update

Why always phone 1 users has to wait way longer. Please improve update rolling for phone 1 as well.

I am eagerly waiting for the stable update, hoping to see the update released soon by the end of Jan or at least early Feb.

      I Have One Question

Do we have to rollback to get the stable version ?

Or do we get the stable version regardless of using beta ?

Omid Typically when joining a Beta you will be pushed the stable when it’s ready 🙂

My experience with NOS 2.5.1 OB2 has been almost flawless so far, except for two issues:

        1. After exiting certain applications, or switching from those applications, the app switching/closing animation seems to play at 60FPS instead of 120FPS, I’ve noticed this happening with Discord, Snapchat and Youtube.
        2. I don’t know if this is an Android 14 issue, or a NOS beta issue, but the update broke both AetherSX2 and Dolphin emulators (PS2 and Gamecube/Wii respectively) on my side. No matter the games I try, they launch, and the first few frames get stuck on screen, but the game plays behind that frozen frame, even though the emulators worked perfectly fine on Android 13 NOS 2.0.5.

Merged 1 post from Beta 2 Android 14 charging problem .
