Truecaller on Phone (2)

Since day one whenever I receive a call from unsaved numbers the name of caller in truecaller database does not flash. It defeats the basic purpose of installing Truecaller/caller ID. I have owned Samsung, Realme and Motorola phones earlier and they worked perfectly there. Anybody got any clues/ideas what could be wrong here?

I was also having the same issues with TrueCaller and got resolved now. Please follow below steps -

True Caller >> App Info >> Advanced >> Display Over other Apps - Allow this.

This will work.

I have just moved to Nothing Phone 2 which runs on Android 14 and I am not able to see the caller details whenever I get a call from any unknown number. I have upgraded the App as well as phone related SW & firmware also, have uninstalled & reinstalled the Truecaller app also but the problem still persists.

Please revert with any settings changes required. I have granted all the permissions to the App as well.

Hey everyone! Even myself have been facing this issue regarding Truecaller I’d not displaying during incoming calls, but after changing to this settings it works. Thanks❤️😃👍

I have enabled display over other apps, still it doesn’t work. I have latest nothing os. Even allowed background activity, still nothing. Can anyone pls tell if they have Truecaller working on nothing os.

PrasanjitBiswas It’s working for me.. you may take the backup of True caller, uninstall & reinstall the same and restore the backup. Once this is done, please try again with the same settings. Hopefully it should work.

Just did that. Still same issue. Everything works except Live caller ID.

I don’t know what’s wrong. Raised a ticket on truecaller support but no help. I hope @changename team sees this issue.

Which setting? I have enabled almost all. Phone and App also updated. Install uninstall also done. Btw I’m using Phone 2a. Could that be the issue? Just saw the thread title.
