Small company must make huge promises. It is what it is. People dont know what is Nothing so company must use big words. They must be controversial. They will change in future. its inevitable. “GUYS” here dont run tech companies. They dont need make crucial decisions etc. Just complaining about past. I know I dont like some decisions like others but I can understand thats not easy run tech company these days XD. NOTHIG IS LIKE CHILD compare to other big brands and child may grown up very diferently then you think. I am not fan boy I am just tolerant guy xD.

Got the 3(a) Pro for me and my wife..

Really like how clean the OS is. Usability of essential space definitely needs to be improved. Until then that essential key stays untouched or I’ll remap it for some other use…

Nothing grands 3 major and six years of security updates. That’s a 0.15€/day cost at EOL per phone…

Beats our previous phones, OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, by far…

I really liked OOS.. It’s more or less intuitive and has good customizing abilities..

I totally miss per App WLAN permissions. It should in the hand of the user to decide.. Right now only mobil Data use can be blocked.. Yes, NetGuard can do the job.. But can’t run parallel to another VPN…

Gladly all that Samsung bloat is deactivated by the company.. Still sux massively. Somehow I just can’t adapt…🙄

Anyhow…

As long as NOS will stay as clean as it is, improved a bit over time and the for us essential Apps will work, I don’t see why to replace the devices before 2032…🤷‍♂️

I choose nothing because of its minimalist philosophy and unique design. Because there is just enough, but not too much.

Pretty good and feeling satisfied. Only thing I really miss is a sidebar and some gaming functions. The OS is a lot smoother and looks better

Nicouschulas the only thing i miss is being able to change volume of different apps when running at the same time for eg playing game and i want to shut the game volume to zero and hear my Spotify playlist also yess the game features were more but then i switched my gaming to pc slowly and yess i miss that sidebar too

UpawNothing How much do they limit ? 10 or 20 percent approx . Here more than 80 percent of the major upgrade is based on Essential Space , and we won’t get those 80% just because of a button ?

This the last major update for NP 2 ,

Shutter lag , worse camera optimization, battery drain issues , still buggy , the OS felt stagnant for the past 2 years , and a lot more…

My only problem is why No Essential Space ?

And only 2 Essential Widgets for Phone 2 ? While 6 for NP3 , while both flagship level chipsets .

mk_oni honestly I think it’s a tastefully done OS. I am a CMF phone 2 pro user since June and honestly it’s been a great experience the notification sounds ringtones widgets control center the whole UI. It honestly to me feels like I am running some limited edition phone with a special UI. It’s true that NOS does not offer awhile lot of colour and customisation like other OEMs do but the things it offers… none of the OEMs do

AbiS_MjZL72iTVk The Pixel 8 was the first to get AI core features, the older phones like my Fold don’t have this. Apple introduced Apple Intelligence on the iPhone 15, older phones didn’t get it. The Samsung S24 was the first to get Samsung’s AI features and again older phones didn’t get them. All phone manufacturers do this in order to encourage more sales. Essential space is not 80 percent of a phones features. You can use Copilot, Gemini or Chat GPT to mimic the features of essential space. If you absolutely have to have essential space then upgrade to Nothing Phone 3, it’s been a great phone for me so far.
