I’m facing some lags on my phone , animations are not that smooth anymore and screen brightness give some minor flickers while brightness is full .

Anyone facing any of those issues, and also sometimes phone gets hot while playing CODM for 10-15 minutes.

Is anyone else facing serious battery drain after updating their Nothing Phone 3a Pro to Android 16?

Earlier, when I was on Nothing OS 3.2 with Android 15, my battery performance was really solid. One full charge easily lasted the entire day with:

Social media
Camera usage
Calls
Daily scrolling & normal usage

But after updating to Android 16, the battery is now draining very fast — even on light usage.
Standby drain has increased, heating feels more frequent, and I need to charge my phone much earlier than before.

This clearly feels like a software optimization issue, not a hardware problem.

HarshitSaini_wRFiyQmv35 On the contrary, I have noticed a significant increase in battery life on my Phone 3a Pro.

With normal use, I always had to charge it in the evening, but now I get to the evening with 50% battery life. If I have enough charge at night, I activate energy saving mode, and whereas it used to consume 5-6% in 8 hours, now it only consumes 1-2%.

I just want to request that please do not remove this post. I have noticed that many posts related to the Nothing phone issue get removed I receive the notification by email, and later I see that the post has been taken down. So please don’t remove this one.

Firmware (bot) In my Phone 3a, outgoing calls is not reaching the other phone, the calls process for unlimited time and provide no response or error message. Also USSD code dialing does not work. Is Anyone out there facing the same issue?
