After Updating to Nothing OS 4.0 the phone’s battery life empties very quickly that it needs to be charged twice a day now, the processing also slowed down as normal apps takes time to open after clicking and sometimes After clicking the power button the screen goes off after a small weird freeze with not smooth animation.

Also the new gallery icon is weird the old one was better tbh.

Is anyone facing a weird volume button issue after the update? The volume increasing is not linear, it increases to max in between the full range.

HarshitSaini_wRFiyQmv35 On the contrary, I have noticed a significant increase in battery life on my Phone 3a Pro.

With normal use, I always had to charge it in the evening, but now I get to the evening with 50% battery life. If I have enough charge at night, I activate energy saving mode, and whereas it used to consume 5-6% in 8 hours, now it only consumes 1-2%.

Hey guys i had finally updated my nothing 3a to NOS 4.0 ,i will share my personal opinion

New changes:

I like the new status bar design but maybe the can make it in much smaller icons since it looks like bulged one for me i am sure of what others way of look and the clock fonts really like but changing the clock colours would be nice that’s why I had been giving feedbacks; makes really fraustrated can’t put my Fav person motivational quotes or bible verse on lock screen ,always searching for dark,orange,red kind of wallpapers to match the clock screen

Gallery design i really didn’t like as I loved the old one

Smoothness has really improved?:

Even though using app optimisation i feel some lag in app scrolling,opening and closing of apps, swiping up app drawer,quick settings if it’s a beta update i won’t complaint it but a stable update can’t feel like it right ,the smoothness is the factor of nothing os so team must rollout a update to fix these updates so that it would be an overall good upgrade

Battery life:

I didn’t tested battery life maybe I would report this thing on next day i did update on around 68% now it’s 51%;So,i would it charge upto 95 today and update it how much SOT has got

Feels like Haptic feedback has been downgraded after update really felt it just after updating my phone

Lock screen wallpaper blur in Number pad interface while opening the lock! Has been missing

I’ve recently updated my nothing Phone 3a to NOS 4.0 and started noticing battery drain very quickly. Before the update i could use my phone for around 9-10 hours, but now it’s lasting only 4-5 hours. Is it same for everyone or it’s only me. And how do I get my phone work longer.

After updation to 4.0 , there appears a red circle in center on primary camera. This appears only on dark color like black. Here’s a sample pic i took on a black cloth.

Hey guys I got an issue aware my phone’s network just goes off automatically whenever I get a call and then I have to go to the settings and reset my network then I have to do a restart only then it comes back but then again it this happening any idea on how to resolve this please it’s so such as I am based out of India and the started happening after I join the beta for nothing os4 and I also got the stable version yesterday even after that it’s happening

There is what I have tried I basically try to just the 4G for both calling and network data but it’s still doesn’t work

I have been facing severe heating issue on my nothing 3a even,when listening to song on YouTube and in background hotspot is connected to 1 device but i have light warm feel even using the same i had mentioned but not this much heat before updating it to 4.0

BenedictRafael I had requested an internal core temperature display on the status bar in a following update, hopefully the Devs see the need for it as this will be a fair guide of load on your system and how to manipulate the device to avoid damage by heat.

The quick look widget (4×1, transparent) has an issue in the resize option. It actually consumes less space than its default layout, but the widget doesn’t let us reduce its size to match the content. The resize boundary feels locked, even though the widget itself could fit in a smaller area. Would be great if this could be optimized in a future update!
