Stereobasic oh! Yeah, I’d have to agree with your thoughts. Sometimes I think same as you. And thanks for a music suggestion! =°=
code913 yeah, it’s tough situation. At one hand I don’t like apple’s design that’s literally isn’t changing that much, assuming that they had the same corner for their cameras on a phone for like every iPhone. But at the other hand now we can simply watch on a phone and say that it’s Samsung or it’s Apple, or it’s Pixel, what’s unlikely can be said for Chinese brands.
But also then we can’t guess which concrete phone is that. Is that iPhone 14 or 15? We don’t know because they’re literally same. So if we know their back colours, this phone isn’t covered in a case, then maaaaybe we can guess. I personally can guess Galaxy flagships as there are a bit more differentiations, but still, for a normal people that’s not as interested in tech…
But for what do we need to know concretely which phone is in hands of someone? Just for that show-off effect like “look, I have a brand new phone!!!”?
What’s insanely interesting is that Nothing is still recognisable even when they changed the design from Phone (2) to Phone (3), it just came from an aesthetically pleasing and bold to something chaotic and avant-garde, and also bold. Like they both perform too close, but a little bit different feelings to me. And people still will completely understand that it’s Nothing. At my wish maybe they shouldn’t change their designs that much, just a little bit, but adding a new recognizable thing to their designs without redesigning a new phone completely.
