Device Not Certified-After 4.0 Update

Any One facing this issue after 4.0 update ? My playstore says that my device is not certified .

Virgo_Advr I had same problem and the costumer centre asked me so many questions but no one solution. I have solved the issue clearing cache and data from pla store, play service and service framework. Go to settings, all apps, select the tree dots, sistem apps, clear cache play store, same for service framework and play service. Restart immediately the device. You will be ok

Virgo_Advr some steps you can try, clear cache if not fixed restart , if not fixed force stop and restart. Final Factory reset phone if not fixed

Ok. First of all I’ve downgraded the phone at 3.2 and upgraded the play store. second, i’ve downloaded the on 4.0 and installed. Third I have not restarted the phone after installation. Fourteen i’ve cleared cache and data from: 1 Google play store, 2 Google service framework, 3 Google service, and reboot immediately the phone. I don’t know why worked for me but the issue now is resolved.

AlessandroFarris Thank you very much for the explanation. How did you downgrade to Android 15? I always thought it is only possible to upgrade to higher versions. I am not that much of a nerd 😉

baltic you need install the beta update app , download the ROM pack 3.2, open the beta update app and select upload. For the ROM pack 3.2 search in this forum and you need to put in “documents” folder. If you ave not the folder, you must create it in the internal storage.

edit: Just an idea: The phone was broken last year and they changed the motherboard on warranty. I thought maybe that´s the reason why it is no longer certified now. Because there is some internal mix-up with an old and new serial number of that board or so…I don´t know. But it seems that just a few of us have this problem

I don’t think. My phone never goes in assistance and never was changed. I think it’s a problem created by Android 16 base because when I was on android 15 beta the problem wasn’t but with last beta the problem come out. Otherwise if the problem was occurred by hardware component, on 3.2 must be the same. The certificate by Google is only for the OS. I think something goes wrong passing from beta to stable

AlessandroFarris I have never been on a beta version. Always stable versions only…now back on 3.2 and it is certified again.

Back on 4.0 the phone is not certified again…after clearing cache and data like you did @AlessandroFarris
I will stay with 3.2 for now. Too bad but what can you do 🙁
