Hey, everyone! Wishing all a happy 2026 ahead! Let’s use this as the megathread for the wishlist for the upcoming year. This thread is all about suggesting cool new features, fixes, and improvements for Nothing OS as we move beyond version 4.0. The Nothing team has been super receptive and open to user feedback, so this is our chance to make our voices heard. Some points to note though: • Apart from sharing your feedback here, please consider sending feedback via Settings > System > Feedback, since that's the official way of sending OS related feedback to Nothing. • This thread is not for reporting bugs related to respective models. • Scroll through first to avoid reposting the same suggestion that has already been posted. • Keep it constructive and meaningful so that everyone can resonate with your views. • If you feel connected with a suggestion, feel free to like or react to it to kind of upvote it, thus showing the team how much a particular feature is wanted by the users. overall experience has been very fine and smooth with the software and though the battery on paper seems low , it feels quite right now that im using it for a few days..but i did find some gaps given the price i paid
firstly theres no AI features in the gallery that would let me enhance details , reduce reflections in pictures,or maybe edit my face a bit using data from my other photos itself..these are very basic features that i think any smartphone brand should give…yeah and this has been the only dissapointing experience for me till now

I am a proud user of the Nothing Phone (3), and I truly love the overall design, performance, and user experience of your products.

I would like to share a feature request. It would be extremely convenient if the Nothing Phone (3) could support built-in writing tools within Gboard, such as grammar correction, text rewriting, tone adjustment, and smart suggestions. As a flagship device, having advanced writing assistance features would significantly enhance productivity and everyday communication.

Many users rely on their phones for professional and personal communication, and integrated writing tools would add great value to the Nothing ecosystem.

I sincerely hope you consider implementing this feature in a future update. Thank you for continuously improving your products and listening to user feedback.

We need to have a maintenance feature in our phone just like samsung, iphone and other phones. This will make our data secure when given our phone to repair.

I’d really like to see support for user-created folders in the swipe-down panel (the main quick access space you open by swiping down from the top).

Right now the experience leans heavily on AI-generated smart folders, but it would be great if users could also create their own manual folders. For example, being able to group toggles and shortcuts into folders like “Work,” “Home,” or “Travel” would make the space feel more personal and predictable.

AI smart folders are interesting, but they don’t always reflect how people actually organize their tools. Giving users the option to create, rename, reorder, and manage their own folders would add more control without taking away the AI features.

In short: keep the smart AI folders, but please add an option for manual folders in the swipe-down panel. It would make Nothing OS feel even more intentional and user-focused.

I would like to share a suggestion that could significantly enhance the uniqueness and user experience of Nothing devices.

As Nothing continues to build a distinctive identity in the smartphone market, introducing a proprietary AI-powered voice assistant could be a major step forward. A dedicated assistant, deeply integrated into Nothing OS, would help differentiate the brand further from competitors.

Key Suggestions:

1. Essential Key Integration

If the upcoming or existing Essential Key could be configured to instantly activate this AI assistant, it would provide seamless and quick access — making it both functional and unique.

2. Advanced Voice Activation

Similar to how users can say “Hey Google” to activate Google Assistant, Nothing could introduce its own wake phrase (e.g., “Hey Nothing” or a custom brand phrase).

3. Multilingual Al Support

Supporting major global languages along with regional languages such as Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, etc., would greatly benefit users in diverse markets like India.

4. Competitive Positioning

Brands like Samsung Electronics have AI, and other companies are also developing their own AI ecosystems. Introducing a Nothing AI assistant would strengthen the ecosystem and improve long-term brand loyalty.
