Hi Nothing Team!
First off, I just want to say how much I love using the Nothing Phone 3a — the design, performance, and overall experience have been fantastic. I’m really enjoying the subtle details that make the Nothing ecosystem feel refreshing and unique!
I did want to share a small piece of feedback that I think would make the experience even better. When I use the camera or unlock my phone with face unlock, I’ve noticed there’s no camera animation — unlike on other Nothing devices like the CMF Phone 1 and other models in the lineup that have a smooth animation in those moments.
It might seem like a tiny detail, but those little animations add a layer of polish and joy to the interaction. It makes the camera feel quicker and more expressive, and honestly, it’s something I miss when using the 3a. It is also quite easy to know if your camera is being accessed or not, as sometimes the green Dot at the corner is hard to notice.
So here’s what I’d love to see: ✨ Camera launch animation when opening the camera app
✨ Face unlock animation around the camera punch hole to match what other Nothing phones have
I think adding this would bring the 3a experience even closer to the rest of the family — and keep the UI feeling consistent and delightful.
