I have another question. Wich is the logic of having a 410×502px resolution, 410×520px develop size and a 205×251px design area? Should we design it on that 205×251px proportion and the watch rescale it to 410×502px? Or should we design the watchface with the 2X resolution in mind and then take into account that there is an extra 18px margin to the limits of the screen?

Aresu so I believe design using a 410 × 502px rectangle with a corner radius of 160px - this matches the current faces of the CMF watch.

Oxytocin✨ I wish but want to keep it as a surprise until the closing date. But will share it after. Not sure if Nothing will like it or even if I’ll win, but regardless I have thought about each design individually to fit the CMF as well as by user experience of all kinds.

Rob ⚡️ quick question on the size specs for design - the guide says the develop size at 2x is 410 x 520px however the design area gives 205 × 251 px. 205 2 = 410, however 251*2 = 502 which is 18px difference to the develop size? Is this correct? Thanks.

I have a question regarding the contest design guidelines.

I am designing in compliance with the design guidelines, are there any color restrictions on this watch face?

I feel that cmf is based on orange, white, black and gray as base colors and the standard watch face is also in these colors.

Can I use other colors for this contest?

I understood English that way, so I only applied for one design.

Or can I submit multiple designs in one submission?? If so, I would like to resubmit multiple designs…

It’s quite clear. The higher the resolution the better the clarity. Also, i think 410 is the resolution while 205 is the display size. So bigger the better.

Ali Fakhruddin thanks just checking as normally - like in retina designs the resolution is double or half depending which way look at it and the height seemed bit odd. will use that and see what can I think of - but I don’t stand a chance against the pros

synchronar What I did was have 9 designs on one single image and then submit that one image. I don’t think they would want just 1 design per applicant. That would limit the creativity which I doubt they want.
