Zac The “bigger picture” section really resonates with my experience so far.
Essential Space, Essential Memory, and Essential Search clearly point toward a more personal and adaptive OS. I like the idea that Essential Space captures, Essential Memory recalls, and Essential Search retrieves information based on context.
That said, from a user perspective, the integration between these layers can still feel a bit unclear. In particular, there are times when data already stored in Essential Memory doesn’t always seem to be discoverable through Essential Search, even when the context feels relevant.
If this flow became more transparent - or if users were given light control over what should be treated as a “Memory” — it could really strengthen the idea of software adapting to how people think, rather than users having to adapt to the system.
Curious and excited to see how this evolves as Essential continues to expand.
