Welcome to another instalment of the Nothing Community Monthly Photography Challenge! @Rob ⚡️ and I loved seeing everyone’s entries for last month’s theme, ‘Daily Life’. ☕

Shoutout to @gtms, @Meet Shah and @Alkid Shuli who shot some of our favourite photos last month. You can check out their entries here.

This month’s theme is ‘Architecture, Patterns & Shapes’ 🏛🗼🏘

You can seek out buildings with strong geometric shapes or satisfying symmetry. Or, perhaps you notice an interesting pattern or art on a wall that you pass by every day, and take a macro shot of the details. Let your creativity shine through, and look out for spontaneous photo opportunities throughout the month.

We’ll share our top 3 favourites here on nothing.community. Share your entries under this post and be sure to share the story behind the image, plus what device and settings you used! Be sure to tag #withNothing on social media if you’ve shot with a Nothing Phone ⭐

Below are a couple of examples shot by me on Phone (2):

Happy shooting - we can’t wait to see your shots!

I took these photos while dropping my niece off at her summer camp at school. Since the semester had already ended for seniors, the atmosphere was peaceful and almost deserted, creating a unique opportunity for me to capture 📷 these frames of the empty school environment.

Which one of these did you like the most?

this is the Golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar, Punjab, a sacred place for the Sikhs, the temple adorned with real gold (thus the name) which reflects beautifully in both daylight and night-time

The following 2 pictures were taken from Samsung A7 (2018) at Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Udhowal, Punjab

As a fan of minimalism, I try to capture and tell stories through my photos. Dubai is a very picturesque city. So here are some of my shots that i have captured using iPhone 11 over the past 2 years but never got the chance to share.

This is a unique shot of a famous bridge located in the Business Bay area that connects the two areas of the Canal each featuring a vibrant neighborhood. Shot this from my office on the 19th Floor.

When I was working in a hotel near the WTC roundabout, I was often moved by the architecture, the vision and the outstanding durability of the first skyscraper in Dubai, The World Trade Center. This was shot on my way back to the metro station.

Madinat Jumeirah (The City of Jumeirah) is a bustling traditional market located next to the iconic Burj Al Arab. It has amazing views of the hotel plus these ancient wind towers that filter the air and cools the buildings, an ancient technique used by the Arabs. This was shot in the auditorium area.

This is actually my old office near the World Trade Center. Took this shot when Dubai had its first foggy morning sometime a month ago.
