(Quick disclaimer: This post was written by an AI because I am too lazy to type this out myself and am currently still desperately searching for a fix while posting this. Transparency is key.)
Device: Nothing Phone 3a — Nothing OS 3.1
What happened:
I installed MacroDroid and gave it Modify System Settings + Accessibility permissions. After the trial ended I just straight up deleted the app without revoking permissions first. Now my haptics are completely dead.
What’s broken:
In Settings → Sound & Vibration → Vibration, the “Vibrate for calls”, “Vibrate during a call” toggles and the Intensity slider are all completely greyed out and uneditable. Touch feedback and notification vibration toggles are ON but nothing vibrates at all.
What I’ve already tried:
Restarted phone
Reset app preferences
Reinstalled MacroDroid and tried reversing settings
Checked Accessibility for leftover permissions
Ran ##0842## diagnostic — no vibration
Has anyone faced this or know a fix that doesn’t involve factory reset? Would really appreciate help. My soul is slowly leaving my body.
