NP3: 4.1 is actually 4.0. Disappointment.

Guys this update is a joke 😂 4.0 became 4.1, just security patch, and that's it?? No fix for the charging limit, battery optimisation is still trash, heating issue still there 🙄 And they're out here acting like they did something big lmaooo. They really think we don't notice 😝 We're not that dumb guys. come on. My phone is charging at 4-5W capacity from 30-40 days. It take 2-3 hours to charge and daily i need to charge atleast 2 times. So annoying. Nothing new.

Coldpaw It’s not his specific device, if you search a bit in the community you’ll see that there are a number of other users for whom this is happening… It seems you survived the selection😅

The phone rises to unreasonable temperatures in an air-conditioned room with reasonable use… This is definitely a problem that needs attention.

lolifnotely🇮🇱 Actually most of the people whose devices are working fine don’t get into the hassel of saying it out everywhere.

Like me I never posted about how good my phone 3a is working after more than a year of use, there may be issues with some devices but not all

Coldpaw my device is charging at 3-5W. Earlier it used to charge at 20-25W. Many users are facing the same.

Soul-420 correct… but it seems that everyone is having problems with their device 🤷🏻

This must be QA/QC issue from nothing side… nothing sold millions of devices and there are like 1-2k people having problems…

sevenelly yup.. it’s because of pps protocol… if you charge with any pps charger you’ll get high watts and more efficiency…

All pps chargers support pd3 but not all pd3 chargers support pps… so it’s win win if your pd charger is giving satisfactory charging speed…👌🏻🔥

The problem is charger compatibility. Looks like Nothing OS 4 is too conservative and strict.

Chargers I’ve used:

Redmagic 100w (from my 10Pro) - it constantly fluctuates but the charging wattage goes to 50-60w. But since it fluctuates, I stopped using it. Maybe too strong for the asking wattage of NP3.

UGreen 65w Nexode PD GaN - goes to 40-50w without anything else charging alongside it. (This charger has 3 Type C and 1 Type A port).

UGreen 65w GaN - only goes to 30-35w max by itself. (This has 2 Type C and 1 Type A port).

Lenovo 68w (from my Legion y700) - this is the perfect one for the NP3. Goes to 58- 65w actively and consistently.

We just have to test which one is perfect. I haven’t tried the CMF 65w so I cannot vouch for it.

So try Lenovo/Motorola charger for peace of mind.

It’s written on the update they are updating to community edition… so I am assuming all those things that were available in community edition will be available and not the 4a ones

Max speaker volume during phone calls too low.
Enabled “Allow background usage” App setting ignored.
(Related) No “Lock app” setting available.

Agreed this supposedly major update is anything but… Nothing took our “flagship” money and just ran laughing to the bank…
