@RapidZapper just thinking out loud here, but would be setting up a DNS server that spoofs the API url that is getting called, be an option? Feel free to reach out if you want to brainstorm. This would be relatively easy for end users.

Ferdau Not really a thing due to cert pinning and other modern protection technique
Are there any details about how the app communicates with the watch? Any wiki or anything like that? Or do I need to figure it out myself?
Ferdau Gadget bridge already have support for it
Any update guys?
RapidZapper Hey, I have a question about the watchfaces: can they write to / read from ram?
Interlastic technically yes but we don’t have control over these operations
@RapidZapper Are there any repos for this that I could contribute to?
Hey @RapidZapper,
I’ve been following this thread for a while now and checking almost every day for updates, but it seems like there hasn’t been much progress or news recently. It’s been quite a while since the last update, and I’m just wondering if there’s still a plan to release the Watchface SDK and tools, or if the project might have been delayed indefinitely?
I totally understand that there are challenges, but it’d be great to get some clarity on whether we’re still expecting an update or if the release timeline has shifted. Any information or progress you can share would be really appreciated!
This watch deserves so much more. The CMF team hasn’t updated or addressed the issues in months, and it feels like they’ve completely abandoned it. The community has provided tons of feedback, but it feels like that’s been largely ignored. For a product that’s their latest smartwatch, it’s disheartening to see it left behind, especially when we know it has so much potential.
At this point, community-driven watchfaces are really our best chance to keep the watch relevant and give it the life it deserves. This initiative could truly be a game-changer. Custom watchfaces will bring new energy to the watch and allow us to make it our own, and that’s something it desperately needs. This watch is still new, and it shouldn’t feel abandoned.
So please, if there’s any way to get more information or an update on the progress, it would really help keep the community’s hope alive. I’ve been eagerly waiting and would love to see this project come to life. We all want to see this watch reach its full potential.
Thanks for all the hard work you’ve put into this so far. Looking forward to hearing from you!
dofotit871 Hey
As mentioned previously we’re still missing a way to install watchface easily, as for the editor, I’m currently working on it and we’re targeting a release later this year.
RapidZapper Do you have a git or a way to support/help you in any way?
peotus That’s unfortunately not a thing for now
