84RRY Same here. Nothing phone will be my first phone from that brand. Moving away from Pixel phones which I had since P3. I need something different this time. I build my Nothing ecosystem sadly, first was Watch Pro, then Ear Stick and 2a is going to be next.

I’ve been a avid fan of Samsung for a very long time & like you, I need something new, fresh & not clogged up with rubbish. I’m thinking I might get the watch & earphones when I get the phone

The price in Dubai will be definitely under AED 1500. So this becomes a must-buy for me. I wanted to get a flagship from Nothing but have to wait until they figure out proper software optimizations and other camera fixes. Meanwhile, P2a will seem perfect to dive into their ecosystem. Looking forward.

hexagonal707x True my man..many of us would prefer a snapdragon over Mediatek all day long, have had multiple issues using custom roms on MediaTek devices.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro is a custom chip which is made exclusively for the Nothing Phone 2a, so it could have more optimized performance in Battery and Performance, and it is the TSMC’s 4nm Processor which means the smaller the transistors mean better efficiency. The reason I’m mentioning TSMC is because They are one of the leading chip manufacturers who are building chip for Nvidia and AMD.

But there are some downsides that it is kind of hard-to-find Custom ROM for MediaTek Chips but Custom ROM in Nothing phone might kill the Glify Interface.

I hear what your all saying about the internals but to me, it’s a phone, it’s a Nothing Phone, whatever is under the hood, it will be fantastic & so much cleaner than any other phone, each day that goes by, is a step towards the 2a dropping
