One Question about Liquid glass

I just wanted to know from those who wanted Liquid glass ALL over the Android OS(More likely nothing OS), Why you want nothing OS to be like Liquid glass?

Give me some reason behind, I don’t want your Stupid answers that “It’s cool” “It’s looks better” No.. Give me A Genuine Answer only.

Personally I hate Liquid Glass OS.

PrajyotBulkar I feel like they want it because it’s one more step towards an iOS-like interface. I don’t know why they don’t just go buy an iPhone.

Such as the Pixel UI in Android 15 (and 16 until the beginning of 2026)? That’s “a long long time”?

Also, on that note… If it’s been “a long, long time,” that implies many years. Why would you then buy the ONLY BRAND (if we ignore Google and Pixel phones) without it? You’ve had plenty of time - “a long, long time” in fact - to choose it and buy any other brand, and you still decided against it and went with Nothing. Somewhat weird, no?

Not one of them, but I guess because of the same old story:

Wanted an iPhone but could only afford a Nothing Phone. Now instead of embracing the original Nothing experience, they demand a fake Apple experience.

Bro I have used vivo and oppo phones in the last and they have this ui blur since a long time I am not asking nothing to change their brand identity but a minor blur accross UI makes the overall UI look good and wanting blur doesn’t mean I want iphone I still love the nothing aesthetic

I think it should be implemented. The menu bar in images app looks insane with the transparent effect all app should have that in nothing phone. It looks kinda minimalist but smooth .

Honestly speaking there is a major difference between liquid glass and gaussian blur one is almost completely transparent where as the other one is blur made to integrate the background into the blur which perfectly suits the minimalistic aesthetic which the nothing os is known for and for the matter of fact, these people who demand are people who couldn’t get an iPhone want same experience in other phones which is not possible cuz every band has their identity and style and if u bought a nothing product then embrace it. I stand with the community
