Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 is well underway in Barcelona.
The Nothing team spent time networking with attendees at the MediaTek booth, following our recent announcement that the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro is set to drive the upcoming Phone (2a).
On Monday, one of the co-founders of Nothing, @David took the stage for a captivating 30 minute fireside chat : “Building Hardware from Nothing: Disrupting the Phone Industry.” David, who’s on his 10th MWC, was interviewed by McKinsey’s Pep Viladomat, and spoke on the challenges of starting Nothing, and creating hardware products whilst maintaining sustainable practices.
Then, on Tuesday evening, over 300 international journalists and creators caught the first glimpse of Phone (2a) in-person at the Nothing MWC party. @Akis gave a great speech and after an exciting countdown, a giant version of Phone (2a)'s packaging was pulled apart to reveal a real Phone (2a).
Guests were able to see the updated Glyph Interface, and explore all the details of the phone’s brand new design up close.
Stay tuned for updates as we find out more about Phone (2a) over the coming week, ahead of the 5th March launch.
