Phone (2a) - Initial Hiccups

Devices are not able to connect to Nothing 2a hotspot.

Hi. I just bought my Nothing Phone 2A a week ago. Great phone indeed. But there are some issues I am experiencing now and then.

The refresh rate kind of change after a few hours of usage even though I have my dynamics on High which supposed to give me 120 hz of refresh rate consistently. But sometimes, it feels 60hz for some reasons.

Another thing is the WiFi and Mobile Network. Both seem to drop out everytime especially when I turn on my bluetooth to connect my Nothing Ear 2.

Does anyone encounters the same issues?

Sometimes, mobile data quick setting widget won’t function.

I have purchased recently a nothing phone 2a there is a major issue sometimes my phone faced front automatically silent from ring mode. I have to make it to general mode by tapping on general mode.. Please solve this issue.

The first issue pertains to the Google Clock app. It has been noted that when setting up an alarm, it functions properly when the phone is turned on, but fails to operate when the phone is turned off. This issue has been verified across multiple devices, indicating it may not be specific to a particular smartphone brand. Therefore, I kindly request that the necessary steps be taken to rectify this issue, ensuring that alarms set through the Google Clock app function reliably regardless of the phone’s power state.

Additionally, I would like to highlight a missing feature on Nothing phones, namely the absence of a scheduled power on and off option. This feature is commonly found on other devices and can be incredibly useful for managing device usage. Hence, I respectfully urge Nothing to consider implementing this feature in future updates, as it would greatly enhance the user experience.

I must express my appreciation for the exceptional software experience provided by Nothing phones. Despite these minor issues, I continue to admire and enjoy using Nothing products. Your attention to these matters would further solidify my confidence in Nothing’s commitment to delivering excellent user experiences.

The reason for this msg is to convey my msg to nothing team about nothing phone 2a.

Things that bothers in nothing phone 2a after several updates are 1- camera picture delay

2- webpage loading delay in different websites

3- very very slow charging with cmf gan charger that cost me 2600 inr, i feel cheated for this one.my 2019 oneplus 7 phone charges faster with 5 year old charger than this “GAN” costly charger.

4- not so impressive battery life, the battery is decent, but not at par considering 5000 mah battery.

5- clone apps doesn’t work properly.

Overall stability is still missing after 2-3 updates.

Hey there, it’s my first day of using the nothing 2a, the 1st problem I faced is that I don’t have a option to control the connected devices on my phone’s hotspot. I hear that this is a long issue prevailing in the phone, kindly take steps to solve the issue.

Post android 14 update Nothing phone 1 can generate Live captions in English, Hindi, French, German and many more languages during calls while this feature is missing in nothing Phone 2a, 2a only shows English as Live captions even though this Phone is based on latest Android 14 version
