I have been noticing lags and hiccups from the first day in my nothing phone 2a.

But once I changed the refresh rate to 120 hz all of the 3rd party apps are now runs smoothly 95% of the time.

Until nothing team optimize the os for N P 2a, I’ll be on 120hz

After using the Nothing Phone 2a for about a week, I’ve noticed a couple of quirks. First off, it tends to heat up a bit during everyday stuff like scrolling through social media, snapping pics, or streaming. And then there’s the camera – it takes its sweet time, making us wait around 3 to 5 seconds before we can actually take a shot. Just some things to keep in mind for smoother usage!

While it has been a week now (maybe still not enough to learn charging habits?) - I am noticing the phone turning hot when I check it in the next morning. Is it an issue with adaptive charging? The charger used is the CMF charger and the case is removed during charging.

Is this a known issue? Not resolving this may hurt the device life in the long term.

After the latest update Always on Display isnt working.

Am i the only one facing this issue?

Recently purchased nothing phone 2a but faced a strange bug when someone calls me it vibrate for 2 sec than ringtone volume come tried changing ringtone but nothing helps, also there is no option is there for vibrate and ringtone. Please someone help me out here.

I purchased phone 2a on first sale

Phone is nice but there are some features which are missing or nothing team should consider about them

  1. App lock in ram: there should be a feature to lock apps on ram, so they don’t get killed in background.
  2. Opacity of floating window: there should be a feature like Samsung ui through which we can change size and opacity of floating windows.
  3. Lock screen clock customisation: lock screen clock’s font and colour should be changeable.

These are the features I found missing in nothing ui else everything is great but moreover nothing should launch there own apps instead of using Google apps.

I am very curious about how will nothing come up with these features

I will update when I find any other missing feature.

SuryaArun it’s not wobbly in my phone though. I’m happy that my device is perfect hardware quality wise.

    Hi, I am using Nothing Phone 2a for more than a week now. I am facing severe lag issues despite all the updates being already installed.

    1. The unlock takes a few extra seconds to respond and is not fast enough
    2. The lag issues are faced while using camera, SMS, WhatsApp, switching between apps and the lag is much more than normal. Any suggestions here?
    3. Also, an irritating thing that I can’t open the camera or video from the lockscreen without having to enter the PIN everytime. Is there a way out?
