NothingOS 2.5.3 update delay for Phone (2)
Hello, Nothing team are you alive, if yes then release software updates for phone 2 or no then Om Shanti 
Definitely annoyed we owners of the N2 are last to get an updated. I want that call recording feature soooo bad and some bug fixes I know they are aware of. I truly do hope it’s worth the wait. But as of now I will be switching back to galaxy or the oneplus brand.
MarkJones_puKvDcZZu7 I wouldn’t get so hyped about the call recording. From what I can tell on discord, they disabled it with the latest update for the 2a (not legal here, so never been able to test it).

I am guessing they are working on NOS 3.0 as Android 15 is around the corner and I think Carl somewhere on twitter mentioned about revamping the control centre, so maybe getting delayed?

Pranshu Android 15 just entered developer preview, it won’t be available until August/September for Pixel, Nothing should come after that
I know but see NOS 3.0 will be bigger than NOS2.5 that is for sure, so possibly they might be working on getting beta ready like last time i know android 15 is yet to release but previously nothing had given beta very early than other smartphones, so oculd be i possible reason

Very big difference between Dream (Nothing OS 3) and reality ( Nothing OS 2.5.2 with Jan security patch)
Pranshu They are working hard to promote phone2a. That is the goal of making money. If you are a phone2 user, then you can just wait.

Nothing team members have not guts to give replies a phone 2 update, except giving warning.
RavishKumar moderators are not team member and don’t have more information about the update than members.
Damn the moto g42 got a March security patch a week ago… and I thought they were slow at pushing updates. I see why there’s a huge cry in the community, they bought a flagship phone of the company and it’s reasonable to expect such level of treatment, even if its such delays. Hope they improve based on the constructive criticism by the community.
