This update has controlled the temperature better, I can feel it, but that’s about it.

Worst update without camera improvements……. atleast phone 1 got the better update than phone 2 users. Literally phone 2 camera sucks in Many areas
GreyKJedi .a in update is just BUG FIX we have recieved this update without any bug so now we and 2a are equal

No phone shop here are selling Nothing products.
No sane shop can see the meaning of a phone where the most ineresting part of the phone is the blinking lights on the back side of the phone.

Saw the data of the hardware for the camera on the internet and all are great, the monitor and cpu are OK, ordered it, and then found out what it was. My mistake. Not blaming anybody. Wanted to try something new after many from Samsung and a few from iPhone (never again). Only blame Nothing for delivering great hardware with software that destroy the fine camera from SONY.
And : not one shop here sell the products from Nothing.
Nothingnew AliExpress banned here in India 
It’s also available on Etsy and Amazon, but it’s a LOT more expensive !

Just try out the multitude of gcams written for other phones with other hardware and see if it gets better; probably will not get worse. I am not going to install software written for another phone, but if you like to spend time that way - OK.
If it goes wrong you can always reset to factory.
When is this update NOS 2.5.3 available for NP 2 in the UK 
??? Does it solve the battery drain and phone thermal heat issue???
I got update for nothing phone 2 only 64mb minor update security patch april 1st
nothingphone2001 Download on the internet and apply manually if you don’t want to wait. I see no change log about the battery drain and certainly there was nothing done for the camera. So this is more like a gimmick and not an important update. Don’t get your hopes too high.
