First tech was a desktop in 1993 (my dad worked at IBM at the time) super lucky to have a windows desktop at 5 years old in my room in 1993, Floppy disk team!!!

adbo Oh wow this is a throwback! I had this, in black, and absolutely loved the portability of gaming on it. Imagine if they made a bigger Nintendo Switch style version now 🤯

arpan2308 Wissou I also remember the floppy disk days, but was probably more towards the end of them moving into CDs 😆 Memories of installing Lemings on my school desktop using 2 different floppies due to the file size…fun times.

Same! I took my PSP everywhere with me, even dropped it a few times and it still survived. PSP was my first time playing GTA too.

Had a lot of floppy disks as a kid and I always remember a sign in a library that I visited saying “Don’t forget your floppy” 😆 Bet they have “don’t forget your USB stick” now

adbo OH MAN, I miss my PSP, that device was so far ahead of its time haha. I also remember playing GTA on it.

I wish Sony would remake it and compete with the Switch.

Wissou I think I’m older than you…. are you ready for this. When I was 18 I got a loan and bought a pc - it was a Olivettia 286 monochrome display, two floppy 1.4mb disk drives and ran DOS 3.3. I then upgraded when I was 19 to a 486 with a hdd and Windows 3.1 (and a colour vga monitor). God I’m old… 👴

Most of the 90s are fond of the PSP. My first device I bought from my pocket money is a PSP. It’s a great feel at that time, playing GTA Vice City. It still feels good thinking of those old days ❤️.

Not sure which tech was my very first, but this one really enabled my computer possibilities big time. The programmable ‘Expert cardridge’ for (my parents) commodore 64.

The ability to stop a running programm, examine and change everything in memory and then return to the programm gave great examine en expiriment room.
