Ok so I found a lot of people having my same problem here. I’ve reset my NP2A and perform several attempts to activate “ehy google” command just loosing lot of time. Hope they will fix this problem with an update as soon as possible or I will send back this beautiful phone. Vocal assistant is very important, and I cannot risk a fine while driving. Soooo sad!!

      A very gentle agent of Nothing support team is in contact with me after Bug report. We are trying to check and solve the problem and it will be a pleaseure to share any helpful info about provided solution if will work on my phone.

      At the moment I’m facing mic permissions on permission manager menu for google cannot be set on alway allow.

      So maybe this is the cause of misfunction.

      Yes you’re right. I’ve check every setting and skill together with my old Nothing Phone 1 and it’s the same but vocal activation works on old one.

      It serms that Nothing Phone 2a simply just does not support ok Google. Very bad decision on a stock Google phone🤬.

      I’ll consider to change device.

        hello guys. I have the same problem. The support tell me, i should make a video, where i show how the google assistant dosen´t run. I switched from an iPhone 14 Pro Max to this device. What is your Status?

        you must report the problem to support via the phone settings; it is important that they become aware of it.

        This is not easy ’cause nothing happens when you say ‘ehy google’. So in bug report there are no errors at all😅

        They must try by itself with a Np2a to see the problem

        I’ve just sent a bug log to support, but I think there s nothing to see, in logs cause voice is not recognized at all.

        At the Moment the only way to activate assistant is by long pressing power button.

            Received the 2a today and stumbled on the same issue as some other here. I guess i will refund my 2a and buy another Phone because Google Assistant is a crucial tool for my everyday life. And cant wait month till they maybe fix it. Even the cheapest Samsung etc. Phones have a google assistant and Nothing seriously tells us in a Sidenote that this i unavaiable on this Phone. Didnt see that note anywhere as i was looking for a new phone. Iam dissapointed and sad that i need to use my broken Poco longer.

              DerChemielaborant same thing for me. I’ve lost days sharing informations to Nothing support with no solution. I’m going back to nothing Phone 1 and ask refund to amazon for nothing phone 2a.
