Hi guys,

I bought my Nothing phone (2a) one day ago. Had ordered the Nothing 65 watts charger with the phone. Since then i have been noticing this constant issue with fast charging.

Everytime i plug in the phone to the charger, it doesn’t recognise the fast charging (45W) and continues to charge slowly. When i disconnect and reconnect the pin, it sometimes recognises the fast charger and starts charging fast. But overall it has been a miss, takes almost double the time to charge.

Can anyone help me understand if this is a software (which i think it is, at it is not able to recognise the fast charger) or a hardware issue

    My cable is USB to c type .

    I tried charging with the other charger as well which was not 64w and it took me 2 and half hours to charge from 0 to 100..

    You guys claim 2a supports 45watt PD charging ..but i am using 100 watt amazon basic charger but its taking around 1.45 hr to charge from 0 to 100 percentage..R u guys seriously providing 45 watt charging or it just a marketing gimmick..

      im facing the same issue…using Nothing Charger 45W…it wrote charging rapidly but time taken is 3hours….if plug and unplug saveral times..it will recognize and 100% within 1 hour…

        I’m loving phone 2a so far.

        The downside I see is charging speed. I have used my MacBook Pro’s adapter and nothing type C USB cable to charge the phone 2a but it took more than 2h to charge the phone from 33 to 100% while it was on rapid charging mode.

        Is this expected? Despite supporting 45w fast charging is it supposed to take this much time or something is wrong?

          hello team use the Samsung company charger 25watt it’s working awemse

          My nothing 2a also giving the charging issue, using 33w charger but taking more than 2.5 hrs to charge fully. So bad experience.. don’t know what to do now. Please help me if anyone knows
