SushantSinha Apparantly for fast charging to work you need the screen turned off. This maybe a safety feature to prolong battery health. This same battery health feature works in OnePlus smartphone too.

KBJ Thanks for your reply buddy. I tried the cmf for nothing 65 watt charger and also tried the nothing 45 watt charger. The room temperature is fine as advised but still the issue persists. I tried third party chargers as well from reputed brands like UGreen and spigen but no matter what I tried it still takes almost 3 hours to fully charge my phone. I thought the chargers maybe faulty and got a replacement as well but still the issue persists.

Hi Everyone!
Using the nothing 65w GAN charger with the cable provided in the box. It is taking about 2-3 hrs to charge the phone. Seems absolutely is nothing doing something to address this? A quick search on Flipkart reviews shows that a lot of customers are facing the same issue. Hope that nothing takes this up on priority

You need a PD and PPS charger to get full speed and a Usb C cable, which is capable of PD ( like nothing cable).
For some guys it works like this, for some not, and some guys don’t understand that there Realme or Oppo 100W bla bla charger (with Vooc charging ) doesn’t work.
johannes_m dear most of the users here are using 45w nothing/65w cmf..both are PD chargers.
This shows there is some issue in the software in A2.
I can fast charge my tab with cmf GAN charger but not the nothing 2a phone.
Please address this on immediate basis.
We all love nothing. We want the best out of Nothing

I bought nothing 2a 3 day before .till now I didn’t charged it 100 percentage becouse It take too long to full charge. At first I’d only realme fast charger with a orginal fast charg supporting cable and when I connected it charging was so slow and thought that maybe because of third party charger. Then very next day I bought the nothing charger nothing c298 and paired with the nothing cable which came with box and tried again . Again their is a change that phone showing charging rapidly. To be honest non fast charging phone charge more faster 
. Idk what to do . Is anyone facing same issue here ? Nothing plz help.

jilenjinson update to the latest os and turn off the screen to fast charge at the correct speed.
You can also use a 100W charger. It’s safe. And as I said the speed depends on the charging protocol.
When will nothing provide update for the charging issues.
Cananyone tell that nothing 45 Watt is better or worse than 65 watt Cmf Gan charger.
Coz I’ll return my cmf 65 watt, if nothing 45 w is better.

johannes_m i hope you’ve read my post before replying. I’ve clearly mentioned that I am using the nothing CmF 65w brick with the nothing cable provided in the box. Under no situation should so many people be facing an issue. It’s high time Carl and team acknowledges the issue and resolves it on a priority. Across all platforms, the sample size is large enough to conclude that there is an issue and it needs to be resolved. Hope you get where we customers are coming from. Thanks!
Update: Finally I am able to get charged from 10% to 100% in about 1 hour using 45W (PD 3.0 Power Delivery) Amazon Basic charger. So out come is - Do not use super VOCC fast charger ( separate tech for Realme, Oppo or so).

From the last two days the Phone 2a is taking a lot of time for charging using the CMF charger .
The current software version is Nothing OS 2.5.4
The device is taking more than 2 hours for a full charge . Is this any software bug or does the charging brick needs a replacement ?
Nb : the charger is just 5 days old
