Which exact charger and cable? Maybe the issue is on your side and not on the phone.

Yo I’m using Nothing’s own 65W CMF Gan charger to charge my 2a but the phone is still not charging at optimal speeds. It’s going from 54 to 72 in half an hour as opposed to what the company claims. Is it not compatible with their own charger which was available at a discount bundle when purchasing the phone? It’s displaying “charging rapidly” but isn’t doing so.

In that case they should hv provide inbox charger ..how other chainese brands are doing…Even i am using 100 watt Gan charger from Amazon basic which charges my samsung S23 ultra pretty well…Even i tried with stuffcool’s 85 watt powerbank from 65 watt port

AaronnShybz im using samsung 25 watt fast charger and it takes about an hour to charge my phone. slow charging only occurs when phone temprature goes above 37-38 degree. try to make your phone cool down before placing it to charge and check.

johannes_m Your right on asking for the details. But the fact the loading does not just work for everyone speaks for itself. Making a claim (fast charging) while putting no adapter is the root cause here.

johannes_m no my charger is 33w from my previous mobile, which generally charge mobile in 45 mins, then why this nothing takes too much time, I really want generic answer or solution, really feeling regret for this. My charger,cable, everything is ok still not charging. pls help me

Same issue here, using the CMF GaN charger with my 2a, super slow charging speed.

MrDeja charging is not about Gan technology. It’s about charge protocol and nothing is using the most common with “Power Delivery”.

The fact that so many have no clue about charging speaks for itself.

I hope that in future no company will put a charger in the box and OnePlus, Realme etc. should go for Power Delivery instead of Vooc charging. It’s so convenient when you can use one charger with Power Delivery for Laptop, tablet, smartphone.

Hi, I am also facing same issue, even nonthing CMF charger is not working, now it’s gonna for replacement.

I am facing rapidly battery drain 20% in hour.

Very disappointed to buy nothing 2a by replacing my super charm Oppo Reno 6. Charging is like I am living in 2010 where it took so long to charge. With 65 w fast charger nothing 2a took to charge in 2.5 hrs or more …VERY BAD …😞

I have used my Oppo Reno 6 fast charger 65w to charge this nothing 2a, which is taking about 3 hrs for charging from 10% to 100%. Simply , very much disappointed

OPPO charger is not compatible for fast charging with nothing phone! It’s using Vooc charging and Nothing is using the most common Power delivery standard.

Hi All,

Facing the same issue with regards to charging speeds. I’m using CMF 65W charger from day one along with the Type-c to Type-c nothing branded cable provided in the box. My observations:

When charging the phone in a room with normal temperature it’s taking very long to charge. Now it took me around 2 hours to go from 6% to 68%.
When charging in a room with Air conditioning. It charges quickly.

This is a big issue. Can have AC everywhere we go.

I’ve also used an application from Play Store called “Ampere” (Developer - Brain_trapp) to measure the amount of charging current.

When charging in a room without AC current current is around 1400 mA.
When charging in a room with AC, the measured current increases by atleast 3 fold.

NOTE: I’m not claiming these values are accurate. But can be used to observe a clear difference in charging speeds.

Requesting developers to kindly look into this issue.
