ghumnewala It is a way to compare overall performance capabilities of modern tech devices. Benchmarks are not intended to deliver a benefit / to matter to every end user.
A different viewpoint: It does not matter to a lot of people , how fast a car can go. But one can compare cars to each other by examining e.g. the capability “speed”, whereupon you can compare them.
aravindha_swamy What is “lakh”, please?
QuintelliX Can´t support your thesis about potentially restriction of the MDT7200pro of the 2a in favour to gain more screen time. A benchmark is a stress test in which every phone is to depict it´s max performance. Even a Battery consumption-optimised phone should push it’s maximum in a benchmark.
Jean Well, there is a pile of stuff “pending to be optimized”, if you read along this community forum. As the most of this stuff appear to be uncommented by NOTHING, one can only speculate whether something will be done. Unfortunately.
Score: They do disclaim and refer to lab conditions on the homepage: “6. Clarification on AnTuTu benchmark data: The AnTuTu benchmark data comes from the Nothing test laboratory and is based on actual conditions using AnTuTu v10. Slight differences may occur due to specific test environments and software versions.” So it is at least unfortunate to advertise with a performance, the customer can´t get out of the device.
