Phone (2a) - Browsing Camera Pics

I’ve been using Nothing phone 2a since last 3 days & already fallen in love with the phone. Really enjoying the feeling of standing unique from the rest of the crowd. One issue I’m facing since yesterday is not able to preview the photos taken from the Camera application instantly and need to go the Files everytime to view the pic taken. Not sure if this has anything to do with the HD tempered glass I sticked yesterday to the phone. Has anyone faced with issue please & would really appreciate your suggestions.

I’m facing the same issue. I can’t open the photos from the camera app, I have to go to Files. Camera app has all the permissions.

Anything I can do?

Nathan Did you try to wait a moment to see if they appear? The phone might needs a short time to proccess the image before it appears there.

Kastello Thanks for taking a look into this. Yes I did. I’m just curious to know why it suddenly stopped responding unlike the initial 2 days of the phone purchase.

I am also facing the same. I have allowed all the required permissions also. But the issue is same. And, I am facing this from the first day.

@Derren Thanks Derren. Sorry not much aware about the do’s and don’ts here. Also request you to have a look on this issue or have it flagged since I’m not sure how to do it using the tool you mentioned.

Kindly respond to this. I am not able to preview the photos taken directly from Camera Application. Neet to go to files/gallery explicitly to view the photos.

Hello Tushar, I’ve reached out to Nothing support on email and they have suggested few steps. I’ll share the same if it works

i have the same issue and i realised that i was disabled “Photos” app. when i re-enable it, the photo in the camera app can be open just fine. i hope this will help.
