Nothing OS Wishlist (2024)

1. Show connected devices with their addresses
2. Must be able to limit the no of users
3. Must be able to block
4. Set data limit

These are like basic features in every budget phones from 5 years back … don’t follow the footsteps of iPhone

Can we have a option to keep nothing original icons as it is in monochrome mode. So that we have black white and bit of red UI. Nothing system icons are beautiful and its a shame that I can’t see it when I use a noting icon pack.

Better syncing glyph with music would be appreciated,right now it seems that they glow randomly,maybe each light could be assigned for different instruments

EllsworthToohey This is extremely impractical and hard because instrument detection from software will be battery consuming, although there is a clever way to implement this by frequency distribution like kicks are lows, snares are mid and hi-hats are tops so it could detect the fluctuations on frequency chart and assign it to designated light areas as instruments! Seems easier but again, very impractical!

I recently Bought Nothing 2A, It is Very Good Mobile But There is Lot of Thing Missing.

Most of mobile has own music app so nothing need a Music application….to access the offline audio Files….

And also we are using Android 14 latest version of smartphone software but you mobile does not have font style change option….we also need the features….

The ability to disable internet for specific apps… If nothing brought this feature, it would go on to show Nothing actually cares about it’s users privacy. But I doubt they do. And I doubt this feature will come to fruition.

I am here giving my opinion in the os and currently using 2a :-

Material you colour theming apply everywhere and properly. Notification panel seems to be left out.

There must be an option to adjust app drawer transperency.

More grid options apart from 5×5, basically custom grid size.

Widgets overlapping.

Battery charging indicator as glyph progress.

Kindly add document scan in nothing phone 2a camera this feature useful for daily office work

This feature is available phone 1 & 2 but not available 2a

In phone 2 there is no AI features to improve productivity, the only AI integration I can think of is wallpaper creation nothing more. Include some of the AI features in update every other companies getting it why don’t us?

Hi,

Currently, the widget is the only way to use the nothing call recorder during calls. It will be great if there is a quick tile setting additionally.

I prefer not cluttering up my homescreen with widgets and a quick tile setting would be enough during the times I need to record a call
