Give some updates on Customization and Animations

In lockscreen Date and time, change wallpaper from lockscreen itself, weather, fingerprint animations, face lock animation and others like other OS.

Also in home screen add colours to icons their are not only white, black and red color many other colors are also there.

Its my opinion get some inspiration from other OS and give update as soon as possible or in Android 15.

Hi all, this is a feature request. And I have high hopes from your guys at nothing to finally deliver it.

Currently, we can only set light/dark mode automatically based on time of the day.

Thatā€™s mostly useless.

I donā€™t want light/dark based on the time. I want light/dark based on light around me.
I donā€™t care what time it is. I care how much light is in my environment, and if I need light mode to be able to read the screen.

My carā€™s infotainment has it, and it is perfect. Fantastic.

EXAMPLE SCENARIO-
Suppose I set a schedule for light mode from 8am to 6pm. And dark mode from 6pm to 8am.
- What if it is 10am, but Iā€™m indoors? I have to stare at the searing light, and have to switch theme to dark.
- What if it is is 10pm, but Iā€™m in a brightly lit area? I canā€™t read anything and have to switch theme to light.

Please find a solution for this problem.
A ā€œauto themeā€ toggle in the settings would be perfect.

All I can think of is using the ambient light sensor to set the theme, similar to how the phone uses it to set brightness. But you know best.

                I am using Nothing Phone 2a since last 2 months. After using this device I found that there is not any option to block a user using my personal hotspot. Also there is not any option to show device information that are currently connected to my hotspot. Please add these options as it is very useful for me. Also try to add feature of using both front and rear camera together in videography. This would be a great addition in upcoming OS updates. Nothing team please look into this.

                The app lock have no extra features

                It feels like using an iphone . App lock doesnā€™t have itā€™s own security lock and also notifications canā€™t be seen .

                There must be an option for the people who wants the notification to be seen

                Hide app drawer function, everything on home screen. Most of OS already have that and itā€™s easy to realize.

                When you swipe up at your lockscreen to type the password, you see gray background which kinda doesn't look good.

                I would like you to suggest that please make the background blur according to wallpaper

                1. First we want a nothing gallery app
                2. A good ringtones atleast one ringtone like OnePlus
                3. Phone lock is used to AppLock, this is very shame of nothing company, you should update different AppLock to phone lock
                4. Provide 2x portrait mode in camera app
                5. There is no inbuilt pdf viewer, please provide a pdf viewer

                First things first, I SERIOUSLY want a second screen (maybe extra Battey, glyph to like tell the timeā€¦. IDK.) I was thinking something simple like a LG dual-screen setup.

                Second is that when you get a message and go-to respond in the top bar then get another messageā€¦. It erase the message you just typedā€¦ very annoying.

                Else phone is amazing since I got it. Spent money on this bad boy on day one, got the white version, battery lasted good in cold weather (Alaska winter). Screen has no cracks. Many drops.

                Glyph music thing is cool with clear case. After a while I started using a light coat of paint between the case and back glass. Makes it whatever color you want, can change it whenever.

                Camera is out of this world, personally LOVE the no IR cut on the front camera. Iā€™ve got a IR spotlight so thatā€™s cool.

                Keep it up boys, Iā€™m honestly thinking about rooting right now after a year(?) stock.

                Found out about you guys through the pinephone WIKI, and basically just laugh at anyone with a Samsung or a iPhone.

                Bro, do you know how many different towers I can connect to?!? Carrier locked is NON-EXISTENT. Especially when running a CDMA & GSM sim cards at the same time.

                Phone changed my LIFE.
