Hey, I’m a Nothing Phone 2a user. I’m quite sensitive to display quality, and I’ve started noticing some issues with it. The first thing I’ve observed is that the display appears slightly noisy. It’s not immediately noticeable, but if you look closely, you’ll see the noise.

The lock screen display, however, makes it more evident. At low brightness, I can see green pixels in the notification panel. While browsing the internet for a solution, I found a suggestion to disable the in-display fingerprint sensor, and surprisingly, it worked. The green pixels didn’t disappear entirely, but the display looked much better.

This gives me hope that these issues could be fixed through a software update. Please, Nothing, address these problems and also provide us a pitch-black dark mode.

Hello, when we switch to dark mode on the phones we currently use, it does not switch to full black mode to benefit Amoled screens. It would be very good if we bring “true dark mode” like Samsung devices.

Camera :

  1. In camera there is no option for automatic flash. It should be in camera flash light.
  1. In the camera option there is 50 mp and 16 mp option, if both cameras are 50 mp than why it showing in seting

Double tap option :

  1. When want to sleep screen on lock screen than it not works.

Dotted Text :

  1. The unique view is dotted text should be in the phone for whole phone text. It is make unique from others. And other fonts shpuld be in option to change view.

Switch off / Security :

  1. When anyone want to switch off nothing 2a, can easily shut down without asking password. It very loose point of Nothing 2a.

Sidebar and swipe down:

  1. There should be a option for open apps by side bar. This option should be in this phone.
  2. There should be a tab for decrease and increase media voice in swip down.

Automatic brightness/ adaptive brightness :

  1. There is adaptive / automatic brightness some times not working sometimes.

Guys I’ve recently noticed the Goodlock App and its modules on Samsung devices, and i feel like it would be an awesome upgrade for Nothing phones as it supports playing multiple media sources at the same time, customising how my phone looks at the core level from the volume indicators to the quick settings, it can also equip the double tap on the back feature as well. i think developers should work on a similar app to give users full custom control for their devices.

yogeshkumar_EXpdzpqRb2 It may sound better to save buttons but its lengthy , slide down and adjust, you can press button once and you cant slide down screen each time just to adjust volume. plus that will take space. we already have bunch of stuff going on in QS. plus we also see notifications there too.

    anjanyadavby yes Pvt space is somewhat very imp.. or there should be an another feature to hide app and hidden app notification preferences should be like only glyph Light should work if notification come it should not pop up 😄.. conclusion – HIDDEN APP NOTIFICATION AMD ESSENTIAL NOTIFICATION MERGE .

      Otu Improve N Phone 2 Camera department, like image processing, manual mode to control the iso, shutter..and glyph lights synchronisation with third-party ringtones, Nothing’s Own dailer and Music App to utilize the snapdragon sound chip…,Remove the phone turn off option through lockscreen, Nothing Keyboard…?? And with glyph combination,like touch the key and glyph lights up..,,,or only Nothing Keyboard…if considered battery life,,,Native Note taking app.. That’s all for now.

        Nothing should get their own camera and gallery filters. These filters would enhance the photography experience, allowing users to be more creative and improve the overall quality of their photos. I’m not saying anything about other phones, as their filters don’t work as well on every picture. iOS, however, has great filters that elevate the user experience, and having similar features would greatly benefit Nothing Phone users.

        My cup of tea:

        1. An option to shuffle the number-pad whenever you want to unlock your phone with a PIN.
        2. The ability to rename apps in the app-drawer.
        3. The ability to chose an icon from icon themes (either default or user-installed) for each app individually. Some custom launchers have that feature (Niagara Launcher at least).
        4. The ability to set charging speed to either normal or quick charge.

        None of those settings should be hard to include since some of them are already included in “lineageOS”, others are available in some custom launchers.

        About 2. and 3.: I use K-9 Mail form mailing services on my phone. I hate the name: I’d rather name it just “Mail”. I don’t like the icon: give me an option to choose whichever icon from whichever icon-theme I have installed on my phone.
