It would be a good idea to add an option to be able to change the ratio (passing through the boring 16:9) in video mode of the camera app.

Ability to play yt music even when itā€™s in lock screen. Can be done using pocket mode like the one in realme.

I am a proud owner of Nothingā€™s CMF Phone 1 and i seriously enjoy the cleanliness of the OS with no ads and bloatware but but, there are multiple features lacking

  1. The ability to add widgets other than prefixed one, like a quick access toggle for bluetooth for headsets or wifi instead of unlocking the phone and accessing the control bar to toggle it (I believe this will implemented in the new OS 3 update but only time will tell)
  2. Wallpaper changing has bugs If i change wallpaper i have to compulsorily add atmosphere and glass animation if remove either the old wallpaper remains on either screen
  3. The ability to Blur App Previews for any app (right now it only implemented for camera app ? )
  4. Many google based basic apps can be OS based app like calculator, notes, gallery (OS 3 will implement this) I have seen many posts regarding this but just consolidating them
  5. CMF watch app really needs an overall upgrade (itā€™s is very cluttered)
  6. Nothing X to accommodate other bluetooth headphones (I know it is a long stretch but ā€¦) so i just need one app to control my bluetooth headset.
  7. PIN scramble
  8. Theming option are limited to only app icons. It should be expanded to apply on all UI for a synced feeling.

Iā€™ve recently seen a reddit post and I was literally like ā€œYeah! why nothing didnā€™t do it yetā€
He is right and Iā€™ve also felt same, it will be very useful to access the media player in the lock screen instead of unlocking the phone every time I need to change the track or something.

Please give us this update in the nothing os 3.0 update !!!

    Iā€™ve got a couple of ideas that could make our phones even better!

    1. Password Protection for Power Off:

    Itā€™d be awesome if we could add a password or fingerprint lock to the power off button. This way, even if someone gets ahold of your phone, they canā€™t just turn it off to escape any security measures.

    2. Customizable Lockscreen Clock Widget Color:

    Imagine being able to customize the color of the clock on your lock screen. Itā€™s a small thing, but it could add a personal touch to your phone.

    What do you think? Letā€™s share our thoughts and maybe we can get the developers to listen!

    I am Avinash From India, Using Your phone CMF Phone 1 from few months.

    Firstly, I have observed that there is no official gellery of Nothing I suggest to please give inbuilt nothingā€™s official gallery with privacy lock features.

    Secondly there se no setting to On/Off any settings in Navigation bar like Turn On/Off Mobile Data, Wifi, Flight mode and all setting in Lockscreen. If my screen is locked anyone can easily turn on my mobile data, wifi, Hotspot or aeroplane mode etc. without my permissionā€¦ in view of privacy or security this is not good or safe so you have to fix it in which anyone cannot be access my phone without my permission.

    In privacy view there se not best app lock and no app hider with full privacy.

    Request to Focus these things.
