Nothing Phone (2a) - Camera Feedback
[deleted]
Sambhrant Bet you wanted to say “decrease”. Who really wants to achieve longer processing times?
SKD Exactly. IRL experienced performance fluctuations must just not be existent, than to be compensated with 3rd party apps. The MD7200pro is more than capable for this. Expect some additional coding work to resolve this.
To be honest I also noticed such image processing time in Google Pixel 7A. Don`t know if that is fixed now. For me its not an issue. I am willing to give 5 seconds more if the final outcome is good. But lens flare? Seriously? Its destroying most of the pictures I am taking with a strong light source in the background.
SKD pictures r oversaturated
Please make sure the photos are not so dusty when taken at night or in low-light environments. The details during the day could also be better. Thanks
Molocoto yep man. There is significant amount of flare around lights.
There will be some new update to improve the cameras. Please Nothing…makes the phone a big gamble.

Recently I have bougth a Nothing phone 2a but i am really dissapointed with the general performamce of the front camera. Plenty of the images i took are blurry. Wen i try to photograp 2 persons little far from the camera the whole Pic is so bad
Hi Team, I am facing issue with my front camera . Every selfie I took its over saturated and face looks completely reddish. Please help.
Happens the same to me. Nothing should release an update to fix this issue since the front camera performamce is terrible.

Night flare..what are your opinions guys please tell?
Is it able to manage the light in night well?
Mine is simply not.
As it creates bright flare around sharp lights.

Post 2.5.4.a update, the lens/night flare issue in Phone 2A is almost fixed. Though its there sometimes but its much better now. Also, for direct light source, in both primary camera normal mode and UW. the light source is still over exposed SOMETIMES but changing it to HDR or Ultra HDR fixes the issue to a large extent .Previously this was not happening.
One strange thing I am noticing in this new update , if there is automatic face detection in the image as well as a strong light source e.g if there is a light bulb/tv screen/laptop screen and a human being / picture is detected in the same frame using face detection, the light source suddenly becomes extremely over-exposed.Definitely a new bug which needs looked into.
Let me know if anyone else is facing this issue.
Really impressed with Nothing`s update rollout and quick rectification of bugs though I still believe camera and light control can be improved more given that both UW and primary lens are 50 MP.
I’m getting weird bloom around the face in selfies in my 2a when the lighting condition is slightly not good doesn’t matter the hdr on or off, even after the 2.5.4.a update, i thought an update would fix it but it’s still the same, anyone else experiencing it?
