Mr.CRR Are you on latest OS update? the backup used to be better in older updates. 10.5 hrs SOT feels like a dream with my 2A unit on latest update.

muhkuhaushonolulu yes. I switch on every features that NOS has to offer, u pay for all those feature, u should use it 😆 11hours SOT from 100% to 1%, i’m sure plenty of other user gets more than 11hours

purchased my first Nothing Phone a week ago. I watched all the reviews about how the battery is a 2-day phone.

My phone can’t get even ONE day of normal use!

Currently, I’m at 30% with less than 4 hours of screen-on time (SOT).

I turned off the Always-On Display (AOD) and enabled all the battery-saving settings, but nothing seems to work.

I really like the phone, the UI, and the concept, but this is bad—really, really bad.

Also, fast charging isn’t working. I have a 100W GaN charger, but it takes more than 2 hours to fully charge. I use this charger to charge my Thinkpad, and it charges the laptop in an hour with 75W. When I connect the Nothing Phone 2a, it shows only 15-20W, not the advertised 45W.

I don’t know… this is honestly disappointing

DarkoVasilijic Don’t worry you will be more disappointed. You will also face most probably heating issues too.

For the slow charging did you make sure your using a USB-c cable that can handle 45W charging, hopefully the one that came with the phone? If so then my only other guess would be that the phone is slowing it’s charging down because of overheating. Phones sometimes do this to make sure the battery doesn’t degrade from the heat if for some reason it gets hot while charging.

I’m not sure what could be going on for the battery problem. Did you check if the screen refresh rate is set to dynamic? Other than that it could just be you got a faulty model.

If I were you then I’d contact customer support and see if I can get it replaced or repaired under warranty.

Keyu Charger and USB cable are capable of charging 75w, as I said this setup charges my laptop in an hour to 100%

I reset everything and started from scratch. I’ll monitor performance today.

I still have 90% WiFi drainage, but it’s kinda lower… we’ll see

After first 3 days I think the battery is ok for day and 3-4H more for next , but when I put SIM card inside of phone hell starts .

30-35% in night whit everything turned off and battery saver on and i’m disappointed.

Sell or wait for update ?

What will you do ?

GameThings I’m in the same boat… waiting for the update, and if they don’t address it I will sell it. Shame, I really like the design and Ui, but it’s unusable.

GameThings it’s happening first few weeks in all nothing 2a users including me also, after it’s adjust automatically,when battery drain very fast try restarting or power off few hours like in night time it helps trust me bro

But I switch from sim1 to sim2 and from 5G to 4G mobile network (I use data just In case WiFi doesn’t work) an I think battery is better

After i post here fully chard it to 100% and until 15H I have 75% and screen time and battery since last charging is 4 H 10 Min with I think is not true but it’s way better than before, real test will be thonigh if it drop 2-10% during night I will be ok with that for now

its been one week im facing battery drop overnight or in standby around 5-15% in 8-9 hrs drop but in normal usage battery backup is fine before that normally it would drop 1 or 2 % i dont know that if its a software bug or battery problem . i bought the phone a month ago. i turn off the AOD but still the same issue and reset the phone but didnt solve the problem . Is anyone facing the same issue .

rahul_d im facacing the same issue . when i contacted support team they told me to visit service center and its been only a month when i bought the phone but in normal usage its giving me a good battery life but in idle or overnight same problem im facing from last week . i hope its a software bug
