Hi.
Little late,
Check out my entry for co-creation project.
It is Lego inspired design, I was thinking it will be also interesting to add Lego inspired attachable peripheral devices.
If you guys like my Idea do check it out and vote.
Thank

Oxytocin - to vote, go to the Community Edition Project page and click the ‘VOTE NOW’ button.
@Rob - are you able to see why my full username does not appear at the top of my entry? It just says “S”, not that it probably makes a difference.
Hello everyone! Awesome designs in the gallery! My contest entry focuses on exploring new ways of transparency and matching the Phone (2a) design with the most affordable line of Nothing products (CMF) - https://community-edition.nothing.tech/gallery/972900/141100/713223640
Since the Ear (a) are out and have introduced a new colorway to the lineup, I thought it would be fun to create an alternative version of my entry:
please vote for my entry guys!:

Just curious, so let’s say a entry wins, but the entry doesn’t fit the parameters of the contest. (Did notice a few that changed what the design of the swirl on the back. Will it be disqualified?
There is a notice while voting saying the nothing board will take our vote into consideration.
So just curious how this will play out
tomkarbowski I feel the rules were kinda loose intentionally so that the entry can bring out something fresh and then toned down later. This happens during every design process. The designer will say let’s send it to the space and the engineer will say let’s send it to the top of the building. The only rule is that the physical geometry must not be changed. Imo, it is the location of the internal components. You can play with the rest. The swirl in your example can be changed as it is only an aesthetic feature and has no function, this is what I deduced from a teardown video.
Anil Indeed our ID team were keen for the brief to be open in order not to limit creativity.
The limited guidance that we did provide was to help people make a successful submission: it needs to be a Phone (2a) not an entirely new device - we are focussing on new colours, materials and finishes.
The co-creation part of this project is very important. It means that there will be some back-and-forth between the hardware design winner and our internal teams to arrive at a product that can be R&D’d and manufactured within the timescales we have planned for this project. This means the winning submission may not exactly look like the end result, but should mean that both parties, the winner and Nothing, feel like they are building a product that they are proud of.
The final decision on who wins is with our ID team. We introduced a voting aspect to give our members a chance to support for the ideas they like and to show our teams which concepts are popular. As an example of how this could be useful - our teams may be torn between two potential winners and the votes could help them make their final decision.
is this like a limited edition or is it going to be available forever , also is there going to be a price difference
Hamza_9eKetiyJsS Hello and welcome to the community.
Availability and pricing has not been decided nor communicated at this time, the product doesn’t exist yet!
Rob thanks for clarifying
Rob Hi Rob! Is there a way to check our submission votes?
Rob Good to hear that. I mainly focused on presenting the idea, not the final design. I’ve watched a couple of teardowns and tried to replace the back parts that seemed easy to replace, but I’ve also intentionally changed the layout of the glyph lights a bit to show additional potential of the design.
Btw, any chance I could edit the text on my submission? I was posting right before the deadline and didn’t notice that I used my draft copy instead of the final one.
Nice, that the voting is opened.
But one vote at 446 entries? And then the display in with only fixed 24 drafts at a glance. That is far from a ergonomic, convenient setup vor a voting.
There are so many proposals and viewing isn’t exactly fast so it’s very difficult to choose just one.
I suggest a favorite button which would be extremely useful for making an initial selection to subsequently view only those more calmly to be able to ultimately choose which one to give the vote to.
hello everyone! here is my entry to nothing community competition :https://community-edition.nothing.tech/gallery/972900/141100/713034304
please check it and if you like it please vote for me guys. thank you
Hi Team Nothing,
I’ve been really intrigued by Nothing’s community project and wanted to share my experience with you. I visited the voting platform today, but I have to admit, I couldn’t go through all the designs in one sitting, so I haven’t cast my vote yet.
I was wondering, when it comes to the voting process, are the designs presented in a specific order, or is it random? I’m concerned that if it’s the same order every time, the designs towards the end might not get as much attention as those at the beginning.
Rob
Nice to hear this as I designed my design based on these criteria like changing the color, materials, and finish. but still, need some work on textures.
My design has a deep R&D about the changeable parts of the Nothing 2a to produce a manufacturable Nothing 2a CE and also has a concept behind it
Voters can take a look at my design
