NP2 Updates support

Hello, All.

I have a curious question. I have seen countless people asking for updates with a lot of features like dailer app, gallery app. I could be biased but why are they needed on such high priority. I do admit issues like battery drain should be taken on high priority, but the rest are not making sense to me. Also it was 100% clear from the beginning that the camera quality will not be comparable to Samsung, OnePlus, pixel.. atleast not in the initial generations but despite this fact almost everyone complains about the camera? it is just not logically making sense. I’m not supporting Nothing completely either as they priced NP2 very high in the beginning but if you still purchased it then you knew what you are entering into so why play the victim card now?

I must admit Nothing exceeded my expectations so far(I may be biased but it logically seems like that to me atleast )

I’m not trying to provoke anyone or come out as rude. Just genuinely trying to understand what the ask is..

Anonymous28 If you are talking about phone 2 then it’s flagship/flagship killer for price 45-50k. I mean nothing claims it to be thier most flagship phone right??

Secondly it’s not their first generation phone it’s second generation

Third nothing’s founder did work in OnePlus or was one of the co-founder of one plus and I might be wrong about this but I think when Carl did leave OnePlus to start nothing many workers also did come with him

Lastly people who expect something from someone or if they trust them they do complain about issue

No one complains infinix,techno or even redmi/Xiaomi because people don’t expect from these companies anything.

When people expect something they do complains about it simple

Vinnnyyy I’m simply saying the expectations are not in the correct speed. Calling the question stupid doesn’t change the point, right?

Carl is experienced and I personally see it in Nothing (again, probably biased)

But second generation is still the earliest generation.

However, your response on generation did provide an angle to my question.

People are interpreting second generation as “not new” As a software engineer myself, this gave me a very intersting perspective on consumer mindset. I guess I was a bit too naive with my understandings 😅
