Sambhrant ShubhamSharma100 Opening any app that used the camera or the camera app on itās own used to devastatingly stutter the entire phone which they seemed to have fixed. There still needs a bit more refinement but Iām happy with the updates they are pushing.
ShubhamSharma100 @āSambhrantā#p Sambhrant still now the issue of stuttering while closing camera app occurs randomly. Any suggestions?
ReddyAnna I took a couple of pictures in bright sunlight and they already appear much better than before the update. This is encouraging!
Remi F Gun_Put thank you for confirming what I said in my first commentsā¦ : I guess my comment will be ignored/insulted like the other times. First time Iām being called a racist, funny. Anyway, back to helping people on this forum.
the_tech_junkie So far this update has been great. It has made the device a lot more smooth to use and is less stuttery. Also I noticed the camera app is launching a little faster as well. Looking forward to the next one because I think this phone is only going to get better.
Remi F MitunManav what āsucksā means ? Did you monitor with a stopwatch how many times you need to charge the phone 0 to a 100 ?
RohithTony I noticed lot of frame drops during the mobile using, when I do multitasking with more apps frame drops occurred after updating the 2.5.4a version
Sambhrant ShubhamSharma100 i wouldnāt say itās fixed totally and more refinement is needed. I have submitted the bug report using error logs as well, especially in Snapchat. It will get even better with more updates. I guess we just need to be patient because they are doing a great job with the updates! But Do remember itās a budget phoneš. I āupgradedā from a flagship and yet this phone has exceeded my expectations.
Schippie Anybody know what the build number is for this one? I have 2.5.4 & there is no update for me. Not sure if I am current or not.
ghumnewala Schippie go to system update and then click on check for updates . my phone did not get any notification but when i forced it to check for updates there was it.
TheSensibleOne Following are my findings for Nothing Phone 2A camera: Lens flare in Ultrawide still not fixed. Post face detection in image, both Ultrawide and Primary camera are spiking the exposure and resulting in an over exposed and incorrectly white balanced end product. The light control is still way off. This is major issue. Post Processing time - its not an issue for me to wait 2-4 secs if the processing is good like in Google Pixel 7A ,there was post processing time but the end product was quite good. But in Nothing Phone 2A, that`s not the case. The 50MP modes and HDR modes are quite good btw but 12MP needs a lot of work. Improve the overall quality of pictures since if we zoom a bit there is a lot of noise and blur. Tune the white balance and saturation in Ultrawide a little bit to make it in sync with primary camera. Portrait photos have a bit of pink/red skin tone which I think can be fixed and sometimes there are auto focus issues. Slight lag in HDR videos. To be honest this is not in the videos we make but also in the YouTube ones its noticeable. Others feel free to add to this list.
AnanthuS Still there is issues in camera department no colour accuracy no detailing and too much saturation Front camera is getting worse after this update
