Compatibility of Screen Protector & Case: Nothing Phone 2 & 2a

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Nothing Phone 2a and am in need of a screen protector and case to protect my new device. I noticed that screen protectors and cases designed for the Nothing Phone 2 are readily available, but I’m unsure if they would be compatible with the Nothing Phone 2a.

Has anyone tried using a screen protector or case designed for the Nothing Phone 2 on the Nothing Phone 2a? I’m curious to know if there are any compatibility issues or if they fit seamlessly. Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.

AbdoSh The Nothing phone 2 screen protector didn’t work with my 2a. I ordered the np2a immediately at launch and there was no option to buy a 2a screen protector. So when I saw one which said it was for the 2a I bought it, but it was infact just the screen protector of np2. The corners were bulging out (of the screen guard) and my case didn’t fit.

Regarding your question about compatibility of cases or screen protectors between Phone (2) and (2a):
These are not the same phones and therefore the same photo block, so it’s impossible to have a case that is compatible with both smartphones. For screen protectors it’s the same thing, they are phones with different dimensions within a few millimeters.
I therefore recommend that you take the case and the official screen protector for optimal compatibility.

Or use a spiegen case and screen protector. It’s fit perfectly to NP2

Nothing Phone (2a) being a new phone has limited options when it comes to accessories. I’m using a tempered glass screen protector specifically made for 2a. It fits like a glove even with a case. I bought it from gadgetshieldz. It also has thin edges so it doesn’t interfere with the case.
