Vinnnyyy AljinGeorgekutty auto brightness for what ?? Display screen already do have sensor And I have tried covering it with finger but glyph light don’t work with auto brightness toggle it just stays in the middle one
AljinGeorgekutty Vinnnyyy in phone 2, it is used as a sensor for display autobrigtness in case of strong backlight..like if backlight is strong we wouldn’t be able to see the display ,so display brightness will be increased and vice-versa. Try covering the sensor facing the backside of the phone to bright light. U will figure it out 😉
Vinnnyyy tomkarbowski I don’t think any light will pass through this metal thing But if it’s a mic what’s the point of it😂 I just want to know about this I don’t think nothing clarified it in phone 1 also
tomkarbowski Vinnnyyy I would be confused if it’s a mic, there’s one similar on my 2a, and I have the official nothing case and it’s covered by the case. So would be weird to block a mic. I could be wrong
RapidZapper tomkarbowski Because it’s not a mic on Phone (2a), Phone (2a) Case - Venting Hole - Nothing Community
Terminal I use 2a , and i noticed a barely visible IR like light in dark , i don’t think it’s a mic , plus my third party cover has a hole as well , it will be either associated with camera functions , or it’s a screen brightness adjustment sensor
