5G connectivity on Airtel

Dear team,

I’m unable to get 5G+ network at my handset Nothing Phone 2 in my office or anywhere in the city. In my phone there’s fluctuations between 4G & 5G. But the phone 2a received the same 5G+ in my colleague phone sitting next to me. Is there any missing features in Nothing 2. Both having same Airtel Network in both the handset.

Turn off Smart 5G, not recommended but it helps! Turn on data roaming, not related to this issue but is recommended by most of the service provider. Finally reset apn settings to default while WiFi is off! - reboot!

BalakrishnaJarugula same here but it is probably the issue with the Airtel signal quality. When I move to a bigger city the 5G works just great.

Wifi off Done.. Smart 5G Off done..APN reset done & reboot is also done..Still not showing 5G+

The phone that displays 5+ is it on the same network as the device that’s not displaying 5+?

Both are using same Network Provider Bharti Airtel & Both work in place also.. I’m having Nothing Phone 2 & my colleague have Nothing Phone 2a..Nothing Phone 2a showing 5g+ & Phone 2 not showing 5g+..

Ashish_Pandey Yes, regarding 5G+, I’m also not seeing the option, I’ve tried adjusting all settings (using Airtel)

Ashish_Pandey Try switching your friend’s SIM with yours and vice versa in his phone.

in a certain place near my home I even get 5G++ too on my nothing 2a . never seen ++ on any device before
