I have the same problem with my cmf buds, I bought them on May 6 on Amazon and the first time the battery went from 70% to 1%, considering that the charge was the factory one, I didn’t have any major problems, I charged them accordingly and today 60% went to 1%, I don’t know what to do I have them for return since they have no replacement on Amazon

Well, I haven´t had the chance yet to drain the case. Usually I recharge it at thresholds around 50-60%, to be kinda prepared for a longer session without a fixed power source. I´ll give that / your question a try, starting now. I´ll come back to the topic then in the next days.

Not sure if you’re talking the same thing. The thread is about the behaviour of the case, not the Buds. You talk about the buds..?

    Happening same with me. The battery backup I am getting is quite good. But the thing is the case battery isn’t displayed correctly. 80 percent of the time it displays 100 percent, then all of a sudden it goes to 40 percent. And hence it falls to 1 percent.

    The battery isn’t the issue but rather the software. Nothing should look up into the matter. It is happening to all units sold on Flipkart and Myntra.

    Please fix it with the next update Nothing, we have high hopes for you.

    Hello I am also facing the same issue . The moment battery of the case drops to 40%, it plummets to 1%. I wanted to go to offline service centre. Can anyone tell me whether I will get a new one or a repaired one as the buds I bought around 1st April.

      With the smartphone, there are sometimes strange charge level indicators when the battery is not “conditioned”. You unload the smartphone until it switches off by itself and then leave it on the charger for a few hours longer beyond the fact that it is full. You could try that for the case.

Means that only you can answer the question of whether you can still return the headphones, or whether the seller, for example, would have to replace them.

      By the way, how many times can you charge the empty headphones with the full case? Have you ever found this out? I mean, maybe its capacity is ok but “only” the depicted battery level is wrong?

          [deleted] I meant to say that the case has the problem where the battery drops to 1% after hitting 40% mark. My question was that if I go to service centre will I get my case repaired or will I get an entirely new device.

          And in case it is repaired, has the issue resolved or does it still exists?

                I facing the same issue. The moment case battery hits 40% and you place buds inside for some time, the case battery displays 1% charge.

                Is there any solution for this issue?? I purchased these buds with lots of hope. Not getting the performance, i expected.

                What should I do?? Please suggest.

                  I don’t think there is a solution (atleast for now).

                  It is a bug we have to live with till nothing fixes it

                  Sad to see this kind of silly behaviour from Nothing 😔

                  I’m facing the same issue. Case charge suddenly drops from 50 to 1%.. need to rectify it immediately

                  There was a hint of mine in the thread about conditioning the battery. Since you ask for help, but don’t respond to that, the question, have you tried to condition the case battery?

                    [deleted] Brother as you are telling already I have drained the battery of the case and left it for charging after being full but still this issue is persisting.

                    It is most probably a bug or a manufacturing defect with a certain batch of CMF BUDS.

                      Kinda Comforting to know that I am not the only one suffering from this issue. It’s very disappointing considering I haven’t had an issue like this with even much cheaper earbuds. This is a very big letdown.

                      I bought them a week ago, and before they arrived I read this. I was hoping that the issue was fixed, but it wasn’t. So when the case was at 1%, I didn’t charge the buds and waited until the buds themselves were dead. They lasted for 2 days more, so I think it’s a software issue.

                        Got buds on 22/07/24 : updated to latest software version.Did 2 full charge cycles buds case drop down to 50% level and after that case goes dead 0%(red light) wont detect in app. From flipkart(Seller: BTPLD)

                        29/07/24 visited nothing service center : They have taken the buds for further testing and gathering proof.

                        I had to make it to the service center in less than a week.

                          There is a survey regarding CMF BUDS on the case . I think we all should raise this issue in the survey. I did it and submitted the link of this community. Please if a survey pops up everyone fill it so that the company may look into this issue if many people report it.
